The Students of Mr. Anonymous (Closed)

Welcome! If you have received this letter, you are one out of the five people chosen to study under Mr. Anonymous. Please report to 4127 Ashden Street immediately. All questions will be answered then.

On the edge of a strangely silent city, five teens are left with only a short letter to explain what has happened to them. The last couple days of their lives are fuzzy at best, and they're all sure they have never met the others before. Their only option is to find this "Mr. Anonymous" and hope that everything will be explained. Of course, if they had known what events would follow their encounter, they would have run far away from that city and only have stopped when they reached their own graves. It's such a shame that's not what happened.

This is the story of the Anonymous.

Personality: Antoine is hot headed, defiant and kind of a jerk. He hates working with people and he seems a little standoffish in groups, not a lot of people like him. But the thing is if you take time and break him down, you will see he's hurt and he just wants someone to actually care.

Personality: Intelligent, very much a bookworm, but when he’s comfortable with you, he starts to crack jokes and becomes very sarcastic, when not trying to make his friends laugh, he’s very quiet. (But nobody plans a murder out loud.)
Appearance: 5’ 11” Shaggy black hair, pale skin, green eyes, long limbs, wears glasses for near-sight. Always wears a fancy old key under his shirt. Has a small tattoo of a skull with angel wings coming from behind it on his shoulder-blade.
Talents: His mind is like an encyclopedia, he can pick any lock, and hot wire any car. Also knows some basic hacking.
Likes: Mysteries, playing escape rooms, visiting the local college campus, and pancakes.
Dislikes: sadists, the news, over cocky people, and people who hate on the gender queer.
Greatest fear: Getting too attached to someone and then losing them.
Backstory: Was a normal high school student, who worried about grades and the future like any reasonable person, but one thing he loved to do was solved mysteries and crimes. He had actually solved a couple of police investigations before and thus jailed a few people. Lived by himself in a city apartment and worked at a Starbucks. Makes the best lattes you could ever taste. Refuses to talk about his life before he moved to the city.

Other: Sleeps with a stuffed Owl named Mr. Fluffkins. Has constant nightmares. Secretly enjoys knitting. Watches too much anime to be healthy.

Appearance: Tall at around 6'1", somewhat fit build, vicious features, short, thick, unruly black hair, intense brown eyes, a few scowl lines.

Personality: Angsty and edgy. Seemingly always pissed, sarcastic and cynical, but endearing. Despite all this, he has a strong moral code. Has a bit of an attitude, sometimes snarky, other times just plain mean.
Talents: Very wise and clever, uncanny tactician and brawler.
Likes: Coffee, spiders, sunbathing.
Dislikes: Rain, snow, sleet, hail, immoral people.

Worst fear: Being inadequate

(Is it intentional to have that last name is the same as the street name? Like you don't have to change it either way, I'm just curious)

(Oh, I must have subconsciously chosen the street name. I built the character from the ground up. I was at first thinking of the surname Asphodel, but that sounded unrealistic. I actually can change it though.

Elijah rubbed his eyes blearily, starting to sit up. His head pounded, his heart raced, and he altogether felt like crap. It took him a moment to realize he wasn't in his bedroom. He quickly scrambled away from the other people passed out around him. "What the hell?"

They were on the edge of a city, or what looked like one. It was quiet, and smelled like rust. Some of the buildings looked to be crumbling.
