I think my food descriptions can repetitive and boring. How do you write interesting descriptions of food?

Make sure you are using at least 5 senses. Sound is a great one. If one character loves a food, then try describing it from the point of view of someone who hates it.

The croissant was golden and crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Each bite made a little crunch, and it tasted rich and buttery. There was a light smell of almonds and fresh bread, making it feel cozy and comforting, like a nice morning in a bakery.

Alternatively, you could also describe the actions and the emotional response. Something like this:

The waitress walked over with a tray and stopped at his table. Harlan watched as a steaming cup and plate were placed in front of him. At first, he was taken aback by the sheer size of the croissant, it seemed to be larger than his hand. The aroma of warm butter and chocolate had him lowering his face to take it in. His mouth watered.

Without another word, he used the knife to slice the pastry in half, allowing more steam to escape. A noticeable crunch was heard as he sliced through the layers of flaky pastry to reach the chocolate-stuffed interior. Harlen took a bite and savoured the explosions of flavours. Bitter dark chocolate followed by the saltiness of the butter and a subtle flavour of coffee. His mouth was thrilled.
