Viason (Rebellion/Fantasy) (OPEN)

Viason, a beautiful island located on the Pasar Sea, is a place filled with life and magic. Big cities stand on the rocky shores, looking out over the ocean. The Ptherions have lived there for years- until the Innigos invaded. The Ptherions fought back but couldn't defeat the much larger Innigo army. The Innigos push them back into slums and force them to do menial work, essentially taking away all their rights. Meanwhile, the Innigos take their place as nobles and wealthy citizens, living in the largest mansions.
But now there is talk of a rebellion amongst the Ptherions. After nearly 30 years of abuse, they are ready to fight back. Some Innigos secretly support this idea- however, this is treason and can land them in prison. Violence hasn't erupted, but tensions are quickly heating up. Other Innigos are trying to crush it before it begins. Additionally, some Ptherions are too scared to do anything or think the Innigos will reward them if they spy on the rebels and report them in.
Who will win? This is an open-ended roleplay and it can go either way, depending on how the roleplay advances.

Rules:
-Write at least 3 sentences & be at least semi-lit.
-Characters should be at least 16 or older.
-Make sure your powers aren't op.
-Since we will all be able to see each other's posts, don't use information your character shouldn't know but you, the player, knows.

-Age: 19
-Power: She can change how she appears through illusion magic. This is very useful for spying on people and sneaking around. Marceline can only keep this illusion up for a max of 4 hours, as it is very draining. It also takes a lot of focus and if something distracts her too much, it will shatter. (ex: if someone attacks her)
-Appearance: Marceline is tall and plain looking. She tends to fade into the background easily. She always dresses in loose pants and tunics- clothes perfect for adventure. Her parents hate this, since they want their daughter to fit in high class society and wear dresses and skirts.
-Class: Innigo turned rebel
-Backstory: Marceline is the daughter of two Innigo invaders. She was raised in a house where her parents didn't tell her much about the outside world. This led to her curiosity overwhelming her. She began sneaking out of the house at 12, exploring the city and world around her. She eventually made her way to the Ptherion side, where she quickly made friends with the other kids. She realized how bad their lives were from a young age. She has heard of the rebellion but at the moment thinks it's just talk and won't actually happen.

-Appearance: Unlike his little sister, he has dark hair and caramel eyes. He has sharp facial features and a hooked nose from when he broke it a couple years ago. He's tall and muscular. He has scars on his body from all different types of fights.

Marceline stood in the forest, carefully putting up an illusion that made her look like a short girl with lots and lots of red hair. She couldn't take the chance of being seen in the Ptherion sector- it would bring not only shame to her and her family, but the possibility of jail time. She pulled up the hood on her cloak and stepped out into the city. The street was covered in muck and the buildings were barely standing. She sighed, looking for a pub. She needed to know if the rebellion was real, and a pub would be the best place to get information.

Ivory was sitting in a pub. She sighed and swirled the water in the cup. She had been told water was colorless, Just like my life. How ironic that the blind girl could control light, yeah the only thing she really ever did was give herself the ability to see. Otherwise she just sat there in the dark.

Vivian cursed to herself as she spilled a drink. Her boss would be horribly angry. As fast as she could, she cleaned it up and brought a replacement to the angry customer.

She slipped into the dim lit bar, checking out the patrons. It was surprisingly crowded. Taking a seat next to Ivory, she waved towards the bartender. "Water, thanks." She stuck her hand in her pocket, grabbing a few coins. Looking at the girl besides her, she began to speak quietly. "I heard something about people rebelling against them Innigo bastards. You know anything about that?" She asked, dropping her typically educated tone to blend in better.

"Why are ya asking?" Ivory responded. Her voice taking on the fake accent she used when talking to strangers. Her eyes never leaving the drink, "Most folks don't want to talk about that anywhere."

Marceline shrugged nonchalantly. "I like to know about things that could change my life, don't you?" She shifted in her barstool and noticed the girl's misty eyes, realizing she was blind. "Don't you?" She looked around the bar for anyone she might know. Sure, she looked like a different person right now, but it was still dangerous for her to be here.

"Yeah," Ivory responded. She scanned the bar with her magic for any anomalies. She whispered to the strange girl, "You ain't working for the Innigo's?"

Marceline shook her head quickly. Technically it wasn't a lie- she may be an Innigo under the illusion, but she supported the rebellion. If there was truly one happening, that is. She scoffed. "Course not. I've seen their fancy houses, and here I live in a pigsty with 5 other people. Who would want to work for them- well, it's beyond me."

Ivory let out a small chuckle. She dropped the fake accent, "Well then. My name's Ivory and yes I do know about the Ptherion rebels."
