Weapons Exchange

Hey guys- I was wondering if you wanted to share the weapons that exist in your worlds. I'm really into weapons, and I know there are weapon experts out there who want to geek out and people looking for critique on their weapons and uses. Here are mine:

Manurhin MR 73 chambered in .375 Magnum (GIGN's signature revolver)
Switchblade (NOT for throwing! Close combat)
Sgian dubh (Mostly just a spare)
Standard knives (not the kitchen type)
Mora knife (just a tool)

Petrol bomb
Hand grenade

War sycthe (not the farming type)

Spear/javelin (the Gae Bolg to be exact)

A hurley (yes it can be used as an improvised weapon)
Throwing knives (not for killing people, just a distraction)

So in my fantasy universe Itoria there's these things called legendary artifacts most are weapons so here's a few
Shield of foliage (sounds lame but it aint)
The lave claymore (The name's a little too generic)
Twin shadow blades of morgul (it's in the name)
The book of midas
The amethyst serpent
The cobra spit scepter
Fangorn dagger
The platinum gauntlets
The colbaltian paladin's shield (the colbaltian's were an ancient race)

Wow I see a few names from LOTR there :) Nice to see the fandom around

of course LOTR is best ;)

BTW whats a like all the weapons that have funky names like hand and a half bastard sword

Aw heck yeah LOTR fans. I haven't met very many people who have read the books anymore. :'(

Yeah, I forgot to mention the machete, rapier, glaive, falchion, quarterstaff, bardiche, and halberd. (My story is set in the Western world, so I don't get cool things like daos.) Let's not forget the classic cane-sword.

And slungshots, flails, morningstars, and Zweihänders.

Spathas an

Spathas + pilums for the polearms category. If there are any firearms experts around here feel free to contribute.

Spathas were Roman cavalry swords, if I'm not mistaken, they would be put in the swords category.

Kanabõs are freaking awesome, you know those big, spiked metal clubs that samurai use… That's a kanabõ.
