Harry Potter should be THE modern example to all YA authors. I feel like it's the best modern YA series I've ever read.
Well, it's more like it evolved into a YA series as her readers got older, like she wrote it so that an 11 year old who started reading would GROW UP with Harry. It's pretty dang cool.

I was introduced to it at age twelve by my school's librarian while working as a librarian assistant, and now at eighteen I have a Harry Potter tattoo on my forearm xD
I love the whole series and all of the messages and role model throughout the books and I finally got my brother to read them, he's on book 2. I just can't explain the joy I have when reading it.
definitely a childhood favourite. i really love the books and i was practically raised on them, they were like the gateway to all my fandoms

I love HP sooooo much I've read all the books and seen the movies at least a hundred times each and I've been to universal and it is amazing. I love it so much that words can't even explain. Also, anyone here think that Hermione and Draco should've ended up together?
