My story is about a person who gets murdered. They turn up to heaven- only to find that the gates of heaven are wide open, and when they walk inside, they find the corpse of God. Soon, the Diety Of Limbo (or something like that, i am yet to figure out the name but he runs purgatory) comes and explains the situattion to MC. It's about Gods, Demons, etc….wgat is this?!

Sci-fi: Are there elements of technology that make heaven and purgatory function? What was used to kill the deity? Was it a sword, or is the 'war in heaven' fought with guns and weapons, particularly futuristic ones? What makes a deity a deity? Extreme knowledge, control of all things through some form of esoteric tech?
Fantasy: This would be the other way. If your god character has been stabbed or something, with a sword or other weapon, then it's likely fantasy. Or, if you deities just have some extreme powers, and that's the source of their power as gods, then its likely fantasy. If there are multiple gods and systems, then it enters into mythology, which is a form of fantasy.
As for the 'religious' tag, this doesn't actually fall into that category, but it would be funny to tag it as such.
