What is the standardest, usualest, most average creature in your world?

What does it look like? Where doesn't it live? Does everyone know it? Is it edible?

@Blackmerexv

My man, it'll have to be my worlds equivalent of a tortoise. It's called a Vandal. It's completely harmless. Squishy as hell. Fluffier than a bunny. And it makes little high-pitched mews when it's happy. Oh, did I mention it looks like a cotton ball with legs.

Mine is basically a Maine Coon cat, except EVEN BIGGER. They're very irritable since they're supposed to be wild animals, but are kept as pets a lot

@Buntecha

Mine is this feathery slug-thing that lives in the trees the natives do. It's pretty much the national pet and delicacy all in one. The only place to not find it is on the ground (since the air is different down there).

@AJMaskell

Most ordinary thing in my world: A horse

@OrionTheWolf

Hmm… A wolf. Or a human. I can't decide which one is more average

@ScarPen

A horse. They're everywhere. In the North, the South, the East, and the West.

Most people, even the poorest, have a horse. I think they just keep spawning until they feel like they've taken over the world or something.

@JoshyTypes

The urban rattle mice. They're like mice but their tail makes a rattle sound!

They live in fictional poor countries. Like one of my own: The grand pocket

@greedyfly

Insects! Magick moths - not named because they're inherently magical, they're ubiquitous brown moths that are attracted to active magick (spells etc) like, well, moths to a flame. An inconvenience at the best of times, safety hazard at the worst.
Also, lycan flies - parasitic flies that have evolved a similar lifestyle to lice (just like batflies), these ones have specialised on werewolves and somehow manage to cling on during transformations. Average, very common, but still lowkey terrifying to look at

@WolfieVampire1946

I mean, my world has literally all the same creatures as the real one, except it has more, so what's the most average creature on earth today? :)
