Are you struggeling with a name for a character? Here is my tip: i like to translate different things into other languages for example their motivation oder something the character stands for. I also like to look for old english words or other beautiful words with meanings for example "Tala" (a bright star), "Lacuna" (a missing part) or "Eunoia" (a beautiful mind). But to find a unique name for your character can be much easier than this, just take a "normal" name and change a letter oder two. Don't call her Lara, how about Mana? Giving your character a unique name, also makes your story (if you are writing) unique. If you have other ideas for naming a character, feel free to add :)

I personally like to put spins on objects I have a character whose name is Amystheia and I based practically her whole look on amethyst tones because that was the inspiration for her name.
