i sit here
on this desk
head in the past,
body stuck in the now
do not tell me that time travel is impossible
we do it any time we remember

bricks are predictable
cosmos are not-
liquid silver flows through my veins;
i snorted stardust and powdered teeth this morning
and showed up to school
with constellations in my eyes-
sparkling with a bad idea
and all the nasty little things i'd like to do
mistaken for childish mischief

I love this. It reminds me of a few I’ve done. It makes sense and yet doesn’t at the exact same time. Those are my favorite types of poems!
