Lol dishes more like Wah-Toast

@SammyTheGhost

I drew an OC from my story, so I was going to ask if you mates wanted to see. But then my Ipad decided it wanted to not take pictures

@ravens

Oof
I'd love to see it if your ipad ever changes its mind lol

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

I was feeling so proud of this until my brutally honest little siblings took one look at it and started chanting "The face is hideous!" over and over again…

I'm still pretty proud of it, but ouch

But that is how crying works. I don't think anybody can cry pretty. I mean, look at Kim Kardashian.

Also, THAT IS FRICKEN AMAZING! You are so talented NutElla!

Deep art thought of the day:

If I said I was addicted to Copic markers, would that make me an alcoholic?

@SammyTheGhost

I guess it would

@ravens

Here’s a quick sketch I drew of Ladybug with (hopefully) more traditionally Asian features

Okay, we've hit a problem… I'm an idiot and tried to use ink on the eyebrows, but I messed up and now they look so, SO bad… I'm covering the area with white paint and I'm going to try and color over it with some colored pencils, but this could either fix or completely destroy this painting… I'm going to attempt to fix this and try not to cry because I spent so much time on this and it was looking so good…

Oh god that sounds not fun. I hope it works out for you.

Lol I don’t use anything besides pencil. I never used pen. I’m weird…

Update: PAINT WAS A BAD, BAD IDEA… It's scraping off so I might still be able to save this but I don't know…

Maybe scan it and fix it digitally and them print it out and continue

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

To give you an idea of what state this is in, just imagine my sketch, but with the eyes slightly deformed and the eyebrows look like… The mustache on Wah-Toast

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

I still have the original sketch so I can trace and draw it again but I've already spent so many hours and I don't know what to do anymore

Take a break and come back to it when you aren’t frustrated

When I make obvious mistakes because when I sketch it’s darker then the black of my glasses and erase it but it never goes away I can’t just give up on it, I continue, and that’s why I shade color with my pencil.

What’s the hardness of your pencil

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

I'm not going to cry… I'm not going to cry… DANG IT EYES STOP IT THERE'S STILL A CHANCE

Can’t really list it, but have you ever seen a drawing of mine? Those same colors of shading I use on the sketch as I do anything else.

Is it like a regular writing pencil?

It’s a lead pencil, I use something more of a writing pencil.

@ravens

do you ever just….color something and then realize
it's on the wrong layer

I hate that so much

Okay. I’m guessing it’s like HB or 2B or something. I would invest in a 2H pencil and draw really lightly.
