Cage tilts his head and bites his lower lip, his blonde hair flopping.
"EEerrrrmmm. Maybe they'll… Maybe school? I dunno."

Ben huffs and follows Gran out. He pulls his black curls up into a tiny ponytail as they walk, almost hoping they go straight into some kind of military training.
Gran points stiffly at the door in front of them. "Don't come out until bell. We watch."

A grin would cross his face. If he were allowed to blow something up. But at least he knew he could keep himself alive in whatever situation they brought on.
They open the door to and artificial forest. At least, it must be artificial. It kinda looks real. There are birds and everything.

The cafeteria doors open and they file the kids out, pairing them in groups of two. Cage starts to wring his hands.
"Why are they doing this? What do you think they're going to make us do?" His voice is a bit shaky.
(do you want cage and Val together? I'll have poppy just be with someone random)
Val shrugged. ”who honestly knows with these people, ” Val muttered. ”They might test us or something. Isn't that what the government does with something new. They test it and try to use it.”

Cage breaks out in a cold sweat, his face going white and his hands cold, he takes the closest hand (Val's) and holds it tight.

Val's eyes widen slightly at the sudden contact, but she doesn't pull away. Instead, she looks at Cage with a small smile. ”it's going to be fine though. They won't hurt us and we’ll get out of here soon.” she whispered the last part. She couldn't be certain about not getting hurt but she knew that she wasn't going to just sit here.

Cage leans on her shoulder a bit, and his breaths become short and irregular. (Anxiety) The guard gives the two a weird face.
"Um, you're with him I guess." He says, then shoves them into the hall. The kids trudge along in a line with their partner.

Val awkwardly patted him on the head and walked into the hallway.

Cage shuffles along beside her, still wearing his slippers from last night. He hugs her arm and very very quietly whimpers.
Guards stand at the end of the hallway by a large door and let the groups in, two by two.
