Fort Walmart

She looked up at cherry and looked at her confused. “Again what the hell is happening?” It was just her luck that the apocalypse happens in the school she just joined not even a month ago.

Val heard someone panicking on the other side of the door. She quickly whent over and opened it.

"I created a virus!"

"Yeah! I thought it would be fun!" She said happily.

"Not a maniac, a scientist!"

Val closed her eyes and took a deep breath. “Ok well cherry is there a way to reverse this?”

Makayla was currently trying not to completely freak out, standing still with a shocked expression and her hands over her mouth. She was almost too disturbed to remember to breathe. Slowly, almost mechanically, she lowered her hands. In a shaky voice, she said, "Am I going crazy, or has all Hell broken loose?"

"All hell has broken loose!" Cherry said, standing up and watching as the zombies head slowly disintegrated.

Kayla sighed. “Of course… why can’t I just have a normal fucking day for once!”

"I used chemicals from science!" She said, ignoring Kayla. "I have to get some more…"

Surprisingly, it was possible for Makayla's eyes to get wider. And widen they did upon hearing Cherry say that she needed to get more chemicals. "No, no you don't. We do NOT need more of those things–" she gestured with both hands to the door, outside of which the zombies appeared to be gathering, trying to break in. "–trying to kill us. Eat us. Whatever the heck they're going to do to us, I don't want to find out."

Dial points toward the window. "They're not outside yet. We can crawl out."

Cherry was ignoring everyone else. "I think I can get some stuff at Walmart… Plus, they have food…." She muttered, walking towards her seat, grabbing her bag, and ducking through the window.

Val grabbed a Swiss Army knife from her bag and followed out the window.

Kayla put her hands together. “Okay, I have a plan.” Kayla carved a map (from her memory) of the parking lot of the school and other places. “So here is are location, the school. If we can run outside and maybe get to a store, then we can take it. I’ve read the news on my phone and they said they’ve been closing stores but not taking the stuff out… so let’s try and get a big store, maybe a grocery store at that… what do you think?”

"Perfection," Dial says. "Wal-Mart is the closest I think."

Kayla smiled. “And it’s the biggest. It has many supplies and I think we can go into the computer department as well. My brother used to work there before he died, and he said there is a radio there, and there is a secret second floor as well, it’s reached by a ladder. It was originally supposed to be a second floor but they just put a lot of storage like things in there. He even told me there is a lot of stoves a refrigerators in there as well. And remember last week? Thy expanded so it’s even bigger then I remember! We should be able to live their for 16 years at most if we ration the food!”

"Hopefully we'll get help sooner than 16 years." Dial opens the window.

Kayla glared over at Cherry. “I think we might not be able to get help… the mad scientist can tell me I’m wrong if she really thinks I’m wrong.”
