Big hecking mood.
I'm doing a full-trilogy reread for my school's bookclub and yikes I'm not ready to face Mockingjay again.

Who is?

I finished a school book three days before it's due date, so I read catching fire with my extra three days. Mockingjay was really something, especially Coin

also they named their country "Bread"

@Simon-Says

*Bread and circuses

@Simon-Says

Also your username is the best thing I've ever seen in my life.

why thank you bows graciously

well technically the saying was "Bread and Circuses", but the country was just "Panem" aka "Bread"

@Simon-Says

Ok, true (sorry I'm picturing you as Leo Valdez now and nothing can stop that)

I'm honored bows sarcastically and in Spanish

I don't usually like it when an author releases a book that's basically the same book but told from another character's POV, but the trilogy as told by Peeta?? Hell yeah, I'd read that!

That sentence was like the second most Leo ValDiva thing I've ever read.

Has anyone ever used the Brantsteele Hunger Games simulator?
I put my characters into it, and some stuff is so on point for them.
Other times it says stuff that makes no sense. For example, 2/3 times I put Victor in, he won.
Victor "I haven't slept in 3 days and am living off of tea and ramen noodles" Grant, the very definition of 'beanpole', who probably wouldn't kill a spider without crying, won 2 Hunger Games.

@Simon-Says

Just gotta say I loved Cinna with all my heart and I literally was about to stab a guy when they killed him like excuse me no you don't get to do that.

If I could change one thing in the entire literary world, I would make Finnick Odair survive. This is a world with Fred, Tonks, Lupin, and MATTHIAS HELVAR dead, and I would bring Finnick back (because Matthias's death actually gets closure)

Fred's death was the most realistic and the worst. It was perfect and I hurt so much.

Now, I've never cried in a book, but the Rogue One novelization made me come pretty damn close.
So did Nina hearing Matthias's voice in King of Scars.

@Simon-Says

OK BUT FRICKING PRIM AND OH STARS FRED AND EVERYTHING ABOUT THE FAULT IN OUR STARS

Meh. Prim's death I got, and since it was mourned, I didn't mind. Fred's death was awful, but TFIOS I didn't care much about. I prefer An Abundance of Katherines myself.
