I shake my head and I slide my phone to penny

(It got dark, we got attacked by wolves, DK got injured and we are in a cave now)

Penny look at the strange device, "Listen, you gotta explain this cause we don't got that were I come from, unless… Any idea, Evelyn?"

(okay let's say I got knocked out) Evelyn woke up and saw the two,and sighed pulling out bandages from her backpack and some gauze,after getting her senses. "Need any?"

I press the button on my phone and tons of music come up

"Well, I already used my jacket but actual bandages will come in handy…" then she hears the music, "Oh, so that´s what it does…"

"Bout what?" She asked as she took off the jacket and put on the gauze and bandages instead, after cleaning the wound with a water bottle in her bag.

"Like a radio… Eh, I guess this one is good…" new people, stuff she haven´t seen before, well, she heard about someting similar from someone who saw the future, there´s that.

"Oh, sorry… again, is just that… sometimes my mind wanders around sometimes and I´m about to ask something and I forget about it… well, any idea of how to pass time?"

I shake my head and the water burns a little groans

"It doesn´t look as bad as it should, you´re lucky… I seen worse… to say the least…" she shrugs, looking away like she was trying to give some privacy

Hm, looks at the ground sigh, have u heard of Hellboy before?

"You mean the comics?"

(Little off character note: the Hellboy comics came out in the 80s and this takes place in 1986 so and I, Motaki, is definitely is in the fandom)

"I look like the fish guy, don´t I?" she laughs, in all reality, she didn´t mind if that was what DK was about to say, "He´s kinda cute…"

"Listen, I could keep talking if you want to, but if you want silence I´m perfectly ok with staying quiet…" she sat on the floor around the fire, then she sees the scale, "Huh? how curious… I stoped sheding since puberty…"

"Well, what do we do now, it´s dark, we have to wait til the morning, we got nothing else to do…" Penny´s stomach was loud snough to be heard, "You still got that tuna sandwitch?"

She nods and tosses it to Penny. "Let's eat and hit the sack. We got a busy day ahead of us."

"Good idea…" Penny eats the whole sandwitch in two bites and lays in the ground while stretching her arms, then quickly falls asleep.

I get up and I look outside sigh, I am sorry I say in a whisper and I run out of the cave

Penny is trained to hear that stuff and wake up the moment she does but this time… this time she had something else in mind
Am I… dreaming? she sees people, her mother and father, at least the people she called by those names, then she finds herself as a child, running towards them, just to bump into her mother and seeing her turn into dust, her father's hands holding her, white gloves and a face that was no longer his, blood coming out of her mouth and fingers on the floor…

"Fuck!" She wakes up panting, even caughing, her gills as fast as her hearthbeat, "Fuck… I need some water…" she looks around, "Where's DK?"
