The cloak fell off, revealing…nothing but the arm, which fell limply from Runner's neck and to the ground. He jumped backwards. "The fuck?!"
Harper grabs the arm of the ground, "So, what now?"

The female, noticing the words directed towards her, glanced to Harper. Her blue eyes shifted back to the cloaked thing.
"Your guess is as good as mine. I can't tell what it is with its cover, and the scent is unfamiliar to me. Though, seeing how weak it is, probably an imp of some sort, but I could be wrong. Knowing how the night started, and now it is morning, it is anyone's guess to what it could be."
her eyes landed on the arm, the female instantly releasing a hiss.
Suddenly, the arm burst into about spiders, climbing all over Harper.
"Most definitely an imp." Harper says, brushing the spiders off, or at least trying to bush them off.

Sakuya moved swiftly, there was no hint of a limp as had been seen earlier. The female was quick to grab the nearest container, a tail having suddenly sprung from her spine, sweeping the small creatures into the mug. With a swift movement, she covered the top with a heavy plate from nearby.
Her eyes swiftly turned to both Runner and Harper, features filled with concern, "Check yourselves thoroughly…if these creatures are what I think they are…"
Harper nods her head and decides to do what Sakuya had said to do. The idea that there might be an imp lurking could be the end of what they were doing here. She shivered, clearly nervous that the imp might be still out there.

He frowned, watching the scene. "It's all in there. I don't feel it anywhere else."
"well we should try to investigate this imp and see what its doing her." Harper says putting her hair into a messy braid. She looks at Runner, who wasn't phased at all.
"It's from my fa- dad," he said, having to repulse the urge to call him 'father.'
Harper gives him a sad look, man, this kid has been through a lot of crap. "Well why is it here though? following us?"
"He wants me. I was built to kill specific people, like I said, and since I rebelled against him, he wants me back."
"But–never mind." Harper starts and glances at the jar of spider things.

As the Runner continued to explain, she released a soft sigh of relief. Well, maybe it wasn't so great, but in her mind, it was better than having what she thought had been parasites from the corruption. Her tail curled against her side as she sat back in her chair. The woman folded her hands neatly in her lap, looking towards the small creatures in the jar.
The tip of her tail started to twitch in an almost nervous fashion. Her gaze never left the things crawling around, "Still, we should get rid of these things."
A soft knock on the door brought her attention Sakuya lifted her head, hesitant. She stood up, slowly walking to the door, opening it to see who waited on the other side.

It was a owl-eyed, innocent looking girl with large white fox ears and bushy fox tail. She nervously fidgeted with her polka dotted skirt. "Ah, hi?"
He frowned. "Why is Vanguard here?" There was a slight bite to his voice, having to suppress a bout of anger.

Sakuya was met with a rather interesting sight. The female tilted her head to the side, her own tail curling behind her, albeit more scaled ending with a fin. The female paused, allowing the scents to flood her senses, taking note of everything.
"May I help you," Sakuya's own voice was soft. Her blue eyes gazed steadily at the girl before her, taking note of the fox-like features, but not seeming bothered in the least by it.

Kiriti, flattened her ears, then pulled on them nervously as her orange gaze darted to Runner. "Ah… I…" She cleared her throat, small voice getting just a tad louder and confident. "I've come to apologize on behalf of my team. To both the owner of this inn and to Runner." She glanced back at Runner, then away. "And to offer any help needed to repair what was damaged." She bowed at the waist, fluffy tail curling around her legs. "Forgive us. We brought the fight to your home with no regard for the consequences. And to you, Runner." Her head bowed even lower. "We never should have treated you in such a way. You are just as innocent in all this as the air Agdrin breaths."
"Please…all I ask is for you to stop shadowing me. I'd like to live the rest of my life in peace and forget who raised me. But, I'm guessing that this is falling on deaf ears, yeah?" he asked with a bitter smile.

Sakuya stepped to the side, allowing the girl, if she chose, to enter the building. The female frowned, "Hydrox is currently unable to be spoken to, having suffered injuries from the fight between your people, which in turn drew in only 3 of the most powerful doom dragons to exist."
For once, the usual soft and gentle voice Sakuya held actually seemed to hold a hint of sarcasm, a rare thing for her.

Kiriti's ears twitched as she stood up straight. "If that is your request, then we shall honor it." She bit her lip. "But I cannot promise you will be completely ignored. You are the son of our arch enemy. It is only reasonable to keep tabs on you every so often to make sure this universe stays relatively safe." Her voice grew quieter and quieter the more she spoke, ears flattening as she hugged her tail.
She turned to the female. "Again, I apologize. If you'd allow me… I can heal him. That is my role."
"Safe? How safe have I been? For all I know, your presence is the thing leading him to me."

Kiriti winced and stepped back at his outburst. "I understand what you are saying. We will not bother you if you so wish to be left alone. But please understand our situation in return."
"I'm not gonna understand shit. Stay away. Simple as that. If you have a problem with it, tell Cin to come down here and we'll settle it, ya dig?"

Sakuya shook her head, then went still. Her blue eyes glowed, hardening, "Your people have done enough in our realm."
The woman suddenly froze, eyes glancing to the side, looking towards one of the windows. A window that had once been covered, was now open, revealing a pair of rather strange looking beasts. Their heads didn't seem 'animal' at all, seeming more to be giant gemstones, red and green. The gemstones moved, seeming to look at one another, then back inside.
"Tempus and Fatum…" Sakuya's voice had seemed to change, shaking, her head bowing deeply, keeping her gaze down, "Loyal servants to the Goddess of Time and Destiny…"
