So as to not trouble Sakuya any further, Demitri whispered into Runner's ear from where he hid completely in the shadows. "Come outside. We need to talk."

So as to not trouble Sakuya any further, Demitri whispered into Runner's ear from where he hid completely in the shadows. "Come outside. We need to talk."
"You're playin' with fire, here…" he growled, but turned to Sakuya. "I need some fresh air. I'll be back." He rubbed the blood from his palm onto what's left of his shirt as he walked.

Demitri, the dark male from when Tessa was trapped in the demon camp, stood outside, head tilted towards the awakening sky. "Are you going to attack me or listen to what I have to say?"
"5 minutes." He didn't seemed to be mad at Demitri, for he thought Demitri was alright. He was just mad.
group
Demitri shrugged. Good enough. He ran his fingers through his hair. "I think I get what you're going through, but don't get mad if I'm way off. I myself am the son of a psychotic demon queen. She's no Agdrin, but she did rival him so there's that. My father is Death himself." He finally looked at Runner. "So I get why you might be mad or upset. I was watched too. Still am. And having a parent that created you for the sole purpose of being a weapon isn't exactly the best feeling in the world. But don't take it out on others. It's not their fault."
"I'm mad because I now have 5 fucking mystical higher power breathing down my fuck back. And y'all's bullshit is to cause. I just want to be left alone, for fucks sake. Be normal as I can. I get I was made to kill, but I'm done with fighting, done with this magic shit, just done."
group
Demitri tilted his head. "What mystical higher powers?"
"Whatever fucking gods run this place, you fuckers, and now Agdrin, my fucking father. And who knows what else? I seem to be the Golden Snitch for the worlds biggest fucking Quidditch game."
group
Demitri ducked his head. "Ah, I don't get that reference, but I'm gonna assume that isn't a good thing." He shifted his weight. "You could go back to Earth. I doubt they'll follow you there. Out of sight, out of mind."
"No, because they tell me I can't They have to keep an eye on me and the shit I do. They're blaming the shit you fucks did on me and making me suffer."
group
He ran a hand down his face. "True enough. Anyway I could talk to them? Clear your name?"
"No. You've done enough," he looked away from Demitri, shoving his hands into his pockets.
group
Demitri shrugged. "Alright then. I tried." His eyes narrowed at the rising sun, and he stepped back into the shadows just a tad. "Suppose that's been 5 minutes. Good luck."
He hesitated, and his rage began to wane. "Listen, Demitri, I'm sorry things had to end up like this. You're a good man. Make sure Tessie's taken care of for me, alright?"
group
He smiled slightly. "Understood." He bowed, then disappeared in the shadows.
He sighed at the man disappeared, running his tongue through the new gap between the bottom row of his teeth and he tried to suppress his frustration once more.
Sakuya barely made a sound. As now, she felt as if a heavy pressure had been lifted once the individuals called 'Tempus & Fatum' had taken their leave. Her once trembling body had calmed down for the most part. There was still a light shiver now and then from her, tail curled tightly against her side. Her head nodded slightly as Runner stepped outside of the Inn.
Most likely someone else from that unknown world had come to speak with him…she could just sense a presence outside that was unfamiliar…
There was barely any life to her eyes, having become a dull blue. The nearly invisible veil across her face remained down, protecting her sensitive eyes as the sun's sharp rays pierced through the windows. As a result, she retreated to a darker corner of the inn. The female still seemed shaken, however.
After a few minutes, he walked back inside, looking frazzled and frustrated, but was too tired to be mad anymore. He just looked emotionally drained, walking over to where he was sitting before and setting his head on the table. I gotta change this shirt, he thought, but had no drive or energy to do so.
Sakuya lifted her head as the door opened, Runner having returned inside. Her dull blue eyes watched him as she remained in the darker corner of the inn.
She watched him for several moments, then finally her soft voice sounded, "I'm very sorry about how this all escalated so much…"
Even though she knew it wasn't really her fault, any of it, Sakuya couldn't help but feel like it was partially her fault. It was she who surfaced nearby to find the boy, it was she who brought him and the rest to the shores of the isle from the mainland…
If only she had staid in the depths where she belonged…
He didn't look up. "It's fine. You didn't do nothin'. Just happened to get caught up in the crossfire."
"Still…"
Her head lifted as the door from the back opened, Miriam now appearing. The woman was currently carrying a large plate. Upon it, was a few cooked steaks, white rice, and green beans to the side. She set it on the table where Runner currently sat.
"Thought you might be hungry, if not, I'm sure Hydrox will eat it…also, there are still those extra clothes in the basket. I did move it behind the counter for now."
Miriam then moved towards the door of the inn, making sure it was unlocked. Morning was here, so visitors would most likely start showing up to the inn. As Miriam moved, Sakuya stood, helping the woman with opening the windows and the rest of the place, letting light flood inside.
Each time, Sakuya seemed to flinch slightly from the bright light. Though the light of the sun might not seem 'bright', it was quite hard on her vision, hence the reason there was a veil covering her eyes. She was more used to the darkness of the deep depths. As the women finished, Sakuya retreated back to the darkest corner, Miriam moving to sit behind the bar.
"I cannot keep up with this…been nearly 9 months now…"
Harper comes out of the inn and looks at Runner, "Are you okay? You seemed really mad and I didn't want to get in the way or anything but I just want to know if you okay or not."
((He's inside
"9 months of what?" He asked, walking over to where Miriam had moved the clothes and taking his shirt off on the spot, pulling the new one on. It was a good 2 or 3 sizes too big.
((Dang it sent late!
((It's fine
"She is pregnant Runner… It means that she wont be able be taking care of us after she gives birth."
"Oh. Right, my bad." He looked down at his bloodstained jeans, not ready to muster the strength it would take to unbutton them. He rubbed a patch of crusted-over blood on his face. "Anywhere where I can clean up?" he asked. "I probably look like I just got murdered."
Miriam rested her arms on the counter. She opened her mouth, ready to speak, but Harper beat her to it. The woman chuckled softly, "Yes, but that doesn't mean I won't be able to help with what I can. I'll just be a bit more occupied."
Her head turned to face Harper, "Word of advice, don't assume someone won't be able to help due to certain things happening in their own lives."
"OI! YOU BETTER NOT BE BAD-TALKING MY WIFE! PREGNANT OR NOT, SHE'LL COME AFTER YOU WITH A CAST IRON PAN! TRUST ME!"
Miriam leaned back a bit towards the place Hydrox's voice had come from, "Oh be quiet you big lug!"
She looked back to Runner, "Head back to where you heard Hydrox, the kitchen is back there and you can clean up in the sink there."
Harper looks at Sakuya and Runner and moves to a wall. She leans against the wall and stays silent. a slight smile on her face from Runners statement.
