(I read it don't worry, idk why i said floor, i meant to say sky)
A second Character Chat? Why the hell not!
(Ah, my bad)
(your good)
'nah, you're fine. Hop on," he said, offering his hand to help her up.
she grabs his hand and hops up. "So what are we doing exactly? I know we are going to find some mysterious person but why and how exactly?" She asks, her eyebrows arched in confusion.
The sudden presence of a new person made the dragon to quickly swivel her head around. Her body seemed to tense up, the sudden appearance making the dragon go on the defensive. She did not expect the person, so for all she knew, they were a possible threat. The sails along her back flared upwards, showing her alertness.
Though as the newest addition didn't show any instant hostilities, she seemed to settle down, if only slightly. Her head turned around as the land came nearer.
"I spend my time in the deep depths, so I do not know much of the surface. Hydrox will know more and be much more help than myself…"
"Oh ok." She mumbles and looks at the land.
"Well, I woke up about 20 minutes ago under 5 yards of water and no memory of where I am. Turns out I was on a cargo ship and I had to jump 'cause the lifeboats were full. This dragon comes and saves us, so now she's taking us to land."
"Woah, i was a dropout of nursing school, did you get cpr or anything?" Harper asks very worriedly
"No, I'm fine. Didn't get any in my lungs."
"Are you sure? Lots of death happens by on land drowning. I mean, not like a care about you or anything." She nervously says and blushes. Her glance went from Runner to the land.
"No, I'm fine. And that makes two of you," he said, flashing a wink to Alex, knowing it would annoy her.
"Okay, no need to get full of yourself here, buddy. and i never said anything about me liking you, so mind your own business." Harper sighs and rolls her eyes knowing that Runner was cocky.
He tilted his head. "I was talking about the not caring…"
"Uh huh sure." she says and looks at her shoes. Shiz he just–nevermind.
His face was twisted in confusion. "No, no, no, hang on. Don't put words in my mouth like that."
"I never put words in your mouth." She sighs, clearly annoyed at him.
"You just insinuated that I thought you and her liked me. She," he said, jabbing a thumb back at Alex, "has hated my for every one of the 20 minutes she has known me. And I pray you don't like me, 'cause my worst pet peeve is people speaking like they can read my mind, So, yes you did." His voice slowly grew a more biting tone as he spoke.
"whatever, i don't feel like arguing so sorry Runner." She says sincerely. Harper fiddles with her shirt hem, nervous and scared. She didn't feel like traveling back the her past when her dad slapped her across the face ten times and then broke her arm. She hated fights.
He growled, his face a crimson red. Hold it in, hold it in, hold it in, he thought to himself, feeling a headache slowly begin to pound on the front of his skull.
"I'm sorry, i will just uh go now, clearly i made situations worse now." She gives a slight wave
Runner's jaw was tightly clenched, but he managed to spit out. "No. Unless you're trying to commit fucking suicide by drowning, you'll have to stay."
Harper glances at Runner, "you sure? It wouldnt be my first attempt." Harper hints about her suicide attempts. She looks at Alex, "Probably because I quote on quote, 'Put words in his mouth.' I don't blame him though, im not good at making friends anyways."
