Vorex nodded at Jake before explaining his abilities a little more. "yea, i pretty much just have these wings, horns, claws, and a few abilities like breathing fire, enhanced strength, and very fast healing. although, Saraia plans on giving me more abilities if possible" he had spat out Saraia's name with hate but didn't slow down in his explanation at all.
Apophis squealed out a happy "thank you!" after Jake called him brave. that made the lil boy very happy, as you could tell by the hug he then trapped Jake in. "my name's Apophis!" he excitedly cheered.
"I don't think we know your name either, but I'm Vorex. and the panicked guy over there is Nomius" Vorex jabbed his sharp thumb towards Nomius to point at him.

Nomius was still very worried as he yelled back at Jake. "I have no idea! should i call someone or do I leave her here?"
"call Death" Vorex was only half-joking when he said that. they could most definitely call Death, but he would not be helpful for this situation.

Jake listened attentively, he was really intrigued on the whole dragon thing. "Yo you can breathe fire? Imagine how many people you could just roast when they piss you off" Jake laughed. "Wait, even more abilities?? How does that work? You weren't born that way?" He was genuinely confused now. Jake also noticed the way he had spoken about the person giving him more abilities, maybe they didn't exactly get along? He looked down at Apophis and smiled warmly. The kid was really cute, Jake never liked being around children since he couldn't handle them but Apophis seemed manageable. He took a liking to the little guy. "Ah! That's a really cute name!" Jake said his smile widening. He looked up at Vorex again. "You guys have the coolest names" Jake pouted. "My name's plain boring 'ol Jake" A bit of disappointment in his voice.

Jake smiled warmly and sweetly at Nomius, almost all innocent like. "Why don't we just watch for now? The screams are very much pleasing~ It's like music to my hears" Jake nearly lost it at how cheesy he sounded. His sadistic tendencies always seemed to show through no matter how hard he tried to keep his comments to himself. "Actually, Death sounds like a wonderful thing right now for that poor soul" Jake said faking a genuine concern for the girl.

Blood began dripping out of Lorrehlyl’s mouth. She stared at the ceiling as she thrashed, her eyes alight with terror.

"Thanks!" Apophis cheered brightly, as he usually does. "Vorex named me!"
he then slithered off because he is five and doesn't want to sit still for too long. the little naga decided to collect things to put beside Lorrehlyl, as if it would help in some way. he already had a half-wilted flower and a candy wrapper that he found, so he placed the wrapper on Lorrehlyl's face and the flower on her arm, before slithering away to find more.
Vorex nodded at what Apophis had said and elaborated slightly, while also answering to what Jake said. "maybe our names seem cool because we named ourselves?" it sounded more like a question, but that's just because Vorex didn't know that there was such thing as cool names. as far as he's concerned, it's just a name. "besides, your name seems pretty cool I guess. I've never met anyone else named Jake so…"
and Vorex had blatantly ignored the questions about their abilities, since he didn't know how to answer that without it sounding pretty bad. because it is pretty bad.
meanwhile, Nomius had finally given up on worrying over Lorrehlyl, because he doesn't think there's anything he could do. his face had gone back to it's resting state, which made him look almost dead inside with how blank his face is. he decided to go sit by Vorex and Jake while watching Apophis to make sure he doesn't accidentally hurt Lorrehlyl even more.

The items were flung across the room as Lorrehlyl writhed, blood from her hand and mouth covering the floor. Finally, the mental snakes seemed to slither out from her skin, and she collapsed, panting, her eyes wide and useeing as she stared at the ground. The bleeding from her hand stopped, but her hand kept twitching gently, as if it had a mind of its own.

Jake had a surprised look on his face. >:O "You guys got to name yourselves? Gah! The luck." He grumbled, wishing he could have chosen his own name. Jake knew that his question had been ignored but he didn't mind. Instead he smiled, like he knew the reason why Vorex hadn't answered. "But thanks, I'll take that as a compliment" he chuckled a bit. "Alright. Time to ask some super important questions. What are you guy's favorite colors?" He looked Vorex dead in the eyes, like it was a matter of life and death. "Also, pineapple on pizza or no pineapples?" His eyes squinted, like he would judge them severely for this.
