(Phoenix's chaotic kinda-girlfriend hops through a portal and grabs him, yelling about the prophecy he's supposed to be fulfilling, 'what are you doing here eating dino nuggets with a bunch of weird strangers?!' No, anyway, totally getting distracted here–)
Phoenix sucks in a sharp breath, his body seizing up as he watched Danica's unnerving transformation. At her quiet omission, however, he forces himself to relax.
"Uh… So, you're good?"

Phoenix hesitates; he'll admit, Danica's "night form" is a little unnerving… but he's seen worse. With a smile, he gives her a friendly pat on the shoulder; her skin is cold as ice, but he ignores it.
"It's okay," he says kindly, "No one here will judge you."

(Aight, unfortunately, I've got to duck out for tonight, so–)
Phoenix wants to say more, but before he can open his mouth, there's a loud bang, and a swirling, blue portal abruptly appears behind him. A brunette dressed in a leather outfit similar to Phoenix's pops her head out. She looks around briefly before she spots the redhead.
"There you are!" she exclaims, drawing herself fully out of the portal as she pounces on Phoenix, "What are you doing?! Everyone's been worried sick! We all thought Evadan had gotten to you again–Come on, you've wasted enough time, we've got to get back to the campaign–"
Before Phoenix can so much as offer a word of farewell, the girl drags him through the portal, and it closes with a final snap.

Kathy blinks, “uh- well then-“ he chuckles. “Guess I’ll head out too. Gotta little brother to get to bed. See ya pals later.” He smirks, stepping out.
