Vethec: Watches Silence's signing, then signs back to both. "These Blind Eternities are the home of the Great Old Ones. I am hesitant to trust you, for this means you are infintely more powerful than you are telling us."
Silence: Sighs in his peculiar way again. "Yes, it is, Avrey. The only company I get is the passing Planeswalkers, the Ancients and other such beings of power." He then sees Vethec's signing. "Yes, this is true. I am more powerful than you will ever know. But that is not the point of why you do not trust me."
Vethec: Stunned, he sits down, hard. My Lord, I am sorry… I thought you were not who you said you were…
Avrey: watches the exchange, then looks down. "I have tried many times to enter the space between the realms. I've tried to draw power, to communicate, to influence anything there, but I've been locked out." He smiles. "I would so dearly love to visit. And perhaps, you can help me with my purpose as well."
Silence: "Hush, Vethec. There is no need to worry." He turns to Avrey. "You've been locked out because you were once an Ancient. You chose to become mortal and relinquish some of the power. That is why you were incapable of properly controlling it, until Andry gave it back to you. I would love to let you visit once more, if only to appease that burning desire to go back."
Vethec: Stunned, he looks at Avrey.
Avrey: smiles and nods. y-yeah. That’s what the council of Spirits t-told me. I’ve b-b-been trying to-to learn more about that since. I-I would love to come and visit. A-and perhaps learn how to control it better. he creates misty sparks with his hands
Silence: Signs laughter. "You know, I'd prefer signing to words. My ears are sensitive. The only reason why I can stand Vethec speaking is because his voice is naturally low and quiet." He pauses. "Would you like to go now?"
Avrey: signing: “sorry. I’ll remember that.” He grins. “Yes!”
Silence: Signs laughter again. "Then let's go." Immediately, the surrounding area around them turns misty and black, and all the light disappears. "Here we are." he says, except this time, his voice resonates through the surrounding landscape.
Avrey: immediately starts glowing bright blue, one eye lighting up. I feel… connected, here. he grins at Silence’s booming voice
Silence: Laughs. "As is natural, Avrey."
Avrey: uses his blue mist to create sparks in the cavern, floating with his power through the darkness. He laughs
Silence: Looks around. "Ah… this cavern is not a place to have light, Avrey. Douse it." he says, the smile slipping from his face.
Vethec: Follows the two, then noticing a weird disturbance in the air. Hey, you two. I'm sensing not just an Ancient in here, but a Great Old One as well. Be on guard.
Avrey: slows, his fear slowly returning, as he lowers his flow as much as possible, his eye still beaming. oh sh-shit.
Karea: Had followed vethec as well, her form a ward against all evil that is there; the beasts are illuminated, and they both shriek, then fly away, their forms twisting and writhing
Vethec: Nice.
Silence: Stunned, he looks at Karea. "You have your own connections here, I see." he murmurs.
Karea: "Yes, I do, Silence." she replies.
Vethec: Surprised, he turns and looks at Karea. "You came here as someone else, didn't you?"
Karea: "Yes, I did, love."
Avrey: floats silently, watching the beasts leave. The hovers every so closer to Silence
Silence: Watches Avrey hover ever closer and chuckles. "Thank you, Karea. Or Valerie. Or Nērene. Whatever you prefer to be called."
Karea: Stunned, she flinches at the last name. "What…?" she breathes.
Vethec: "Nērene? That was you?"
Karea: "Y-yes…"
Vethec: "No small wonder then… she was terrifying."
Avrey: ”you have more than one identify?”
Karea: Sighs. "Tecnically, yes and no. My past lives."
Vethec: "Exactly. Before you became an Ancient, Avrey, you were a powerful mortal sorceress. When you reincarnated, you became the Ancient of Magic."
Avrey: looks down, stunned. “Wow. I… She was right. I was a girl at some point.” He laughs, still amazed
Silence: Sighs. "Yes, Avrey. You were once a girl."
Avrey: laughs distantly. “No wonder I’m so dysphoric”
(Also, add to the list of people I'm taking over for… Knight. Damn, I seem to be a go-to.)
