Karea: Yep! Grabs two swords in particular: a rapier and a longsword Not these two, though.
Vethec: Since when do you- nevermind…
Karea: Don't worry about it. It's just for self defense. Coughs Anyways…

business

Maia: grabs a bastard sword oh, this is very fine. Was it a make, find, or buy?

Lucitius: Snorts, eyeing all the weapons thoughtfully.

Synthia: You have your claws, love. You need no more.

Lucitius: Snickers.

Karea: I made all of these.
Vethec: Very concerned now When did you have the time to-
Karea: Shushes Vethec Stop questioning things, it will only lead to more questions. Go ahead Lucitius! Grab one. It's yours.

business

Maia: Really? You must have a very good forge.

Karea: Nope. Just magic. I made these, literally, with my own two hands.
Vethec: Has sat down, very confused

Lucitius: Chuckles, then looks through all of the weapons. Grabs a scimitar. He smiles thoughtfully, then summons his staff, tapping it on the ground. The staff’s branched tip turns into an ornate spearhead. Fitting, would you say?

Synthia: Giggles.

business

Maia: wow. they are very nice. puts the bastard sword back and grabs a Dao I like this one. cuts arm just above the last cut.

Karea: Nice combo, Lucitius. Dervish? Also, that's one of the better pieces, and heavy, Maia.

Lucitius: Grins. Define ‘dervish’. ‘Tis a word I am unfamiliar with.

Synthia: I believe it refers to your weapon choice.

business

Maia: nods

Karea: Synthia's right.

business

Maia: nods again distracted by the blood coming from her arm

Karea: Grabs a dagger that appears to be made of a weird compound of blood and light, then brings it to her palm, cutting it quickly and surely; then, she proceeds to mutter various incantations under her breath, the silvery blood that pools shifting and bubbling; after a couple of seconds, there is a vague outline of a two-handed sword, and after a minute she's holding a full-sized Zweihander, made of the blood from her hand Check it out, Maia! I made something for you!

Lucitius: Shrugs, chuckling. I typically use mine staff and mine claws. Show his outrageously long claws. Rarely have I need of a spear, yet it has its uses, and scimitars have intrigued me for millennia.

Synthia: You are intrigued by a lot of things, love.

Lucitius: Laughs, then watches Karea. He seems unsure how to react.

(Nice. Zweihanders are cool. Don’t mind the sword enthusiast here, lol)

business

Maia: looks up oh. my. god. that is a mazing.takes sword in ah

(good night Y'all, I'm going to bed)

Karea: Watches Lucitius closely, then grins I'm not a blood sorceress, unlike Maia. I was pretty much born with lucerokinesis and sanguinesis. The powers of light manipulation and blood manipulation, respectively. It helps with weapon forging and healing.

(Okay, Arya! See you… probably Monday. Also, Anastasia, I'm a sword enthusiast too… there are so many interesting swords, but I find the Eastern styles, like the katana or no-dachi, to be more pleasing to the eye.)

Lucitius: Nods, seeming to calm down a bit. Then grins. He dismisses his staff and draws a large butterfly with blue mist from his fingers. He taps it and the butterfly comes to life, landing on Synthia’s head.

Synthia: Smiles.

(Good night, Arya. Waves)
(Nice! I think I actually tend to arabic swords [Scimitar for example]. I honestly don’t know, but I love researching swords)

Karea: Sighing Although, if I wanted to, I assume I could perform the Forbidden Arts with ease, but that comes with a price. Watches the butterfly, then grins and uses the light in the surrounding area to craft a hawk; it blinks, ruffles its feathers and flies off

(That's cool. And same! I have a book that depicts a lot of different types of swords… I'm actually going to go find that, hold on a sec.)

Lucitius: Doesn’t comment on her words, but watches the hawk in fascination. You have Light Sorcery, I have Ethereal Sorcery. That is what I created the Klyt from.

Synthia: Butterfly, Lucitius.

Lucitius: Looks at her. Same thing.

Synthia: Snorts and shakes her heads, chuckling.

(That’s cool. Lucitius actually guards six swords that are symbolic of the Drāckonian tribes. They’re ceremonial, but still functional)

business

Maia: I have a question. razes hand like if she was in school

Karea: Grins Klyt… interesting.
Vethec: Sighing What is it Ad- Maia?

(Let's see here… Kens, tachis (One-handed, ancient style), tachi (Great sword), katana + wakizashi, tanto, kubikiri, yari, naginatas… etc, etc!)
(Also, would that apply to Clan Aethon's sword as well, Anastasia?)

business

Maia: If Blood magic is forbidden, why are you letting me practice it?

person_off
Deleted user

Vethec: SIghs Because the alternative is taking it away or killing you. Neither options are one I particularly liked, and I knew you wouldn't like them either, so…
Karea: If it makes you feel any better, my sanguinesis has technically been outlawed if it's learned. However, I was born with it so I can get away with it!

business

Maia: So you would let me get away with something forbidden rather than the possibility of hurting my feelings?

person_off
Deleted user

Vethec: More than that. I'm just not in the mood to kill you.

business

Maia: but you are capable of taking it away without killing me, are you not? But, you remember how I got them in the first place. Remember the drink? I could just make it and take it again. she argued with herself
Thus making your removal pointless. Of corse you could alter me so that the drink did nothing. But then, I would just alter the drink to mach. looks at Vethec … I see your point.

(Ooh, I recognize some of those swords. Nice)
(Yes. Lucitius does indeed guard Tribe Aethon’s sword, which, by the way, is a falchion)

Lucitius: ‘Tis the collective name of the native… butterfly… from our realm.

Synthia: Snickers.

Lucitius: Watches the conversation between Maia and Vethec. Stares at Maia with a mix of disdain and contempt.

Synthia: Whispers to Lucitius. Watch your fury, love.

Lucitius: Looks at Synthia and sighs.

(Yeah, if you couldn't tell, I'm into anime, lmao! And killing shit, bu that besides the point.)
(But weren't they all killed? Besides Ashene, of course… and her ancestors?)

Karea: Ah… that makes sense. Watches Vethec, Maia and Lucitius, prepared to start breaking anything apart
Vethec: Yes, but what's the point? You literally just explained the entire argument to yourself.

(Lol)
(Yes. But, while they lived, Lucitius guarded the sword. When the entire tribe was destroyed, the sword was also destroyed)

Lucitius: Nods at Karea, then resumes glaring at Maia.

Synthia: Sighs at his glare and tugs on Lucitius’ arm. When he turns, she kisses him.
