"Yeah…" Don't give it away..
"About that…" He held a ring in his hand

She looked up at him. "What?"

"I was thinking…" He got down on one knee.

She turned from pale to pink to red faster than a set of traffic lights.

"Will you marry me?" He proposed

Nyx just stared at him, taking in the absurdity of the situation for a moment, shock trickling down her sternum.
They were in India, in the middle of the night, and milk was dripping off of her nose, and they were in their pajamas, standing on the sidewalk, and he was a demon, and she was part platypus, and his eyes, and oh his eyes -
She laughed out loud and kissed him. "Yes. Yes, Vozreal Rafter, yes. Yes, I'll marry you. A thousand times, yes."

"You had just made me the happiest man in the world!" He spun her around, like they do when one proposes and accepts in the movies.

Nyx started crying, hugging him tightly.

He kissed her a thousand times.

Nyx kissed him a thousand times back, all over his face and neck, down to the top of his pajamas.

"Shall we continue inside?~"

"Sure~"

"I mean… if you would want to, ya know… F%ck… we can.."

"Later."

"After the wedding." He stated

"Yeah," she agreed, and then it hit her. "Oh, the wedding! We should plan the wedding - and - and make invitations - and, I don't even know who to invite…"

"I'll invite everyone in Paradox Vortex!"

She smiled, a little sadly. "I only have Phoenix."

"Oh… you should call her!"

"I… I'd prefer to tell her face-to-face… but I don't want to leave India…" Her head was spinning. So much to do!

So little time..
"I could bring her here…"

"No, it's fine, we can stay for a few more days…" She kissed him. She was still crying. "One more day. We can leave in two days… or tomorrow, I guess, because it's technically morning…"

"Tomorrow works for me. I don't like not wearing suits. Next stop, IRELAND!!"

"Ireland? That's, like, clover and stuff, right?"

"That's literally racist."

"But yes. It's more than that, though."

"I don't know much about Ireland, or anywhere, really. I was raised in a lab."
