The male flicked his tail spines at the scaly figure, killing it, then smiled with pointy teeth. "I've been here a while. I'm the last of my group. And if I'm evil, well–" He was cut off when a body slammed into him, flinging him across the makeshift path. The two tumbled in the dirt–flashes of gold and brown and a chorus of snarls and snapping teeth.
"You–Asshole!" Tessa panted, pinning the male beneath her.
The male grinned. "Hello, dear sister."

Anna stepped back from the two of them. "Tess, this is your brother?"
"Sister!?!?" she smiled. She didn't understand why this was so exciting for her.

Tess grinned at the male, breathing heavily. He laughed and kicked her off. They both sprawled across the dirt.
"Half, but yes." She said. "Mother's side. Mountain dragon shapeshifter."
He waved. "Name's Ronan."
Meanwhile, Danny was looking around frantically when a girl dropped to the ground in front of him. She had red hair and half of her body was on fire. She grinned evilly and Danny's eyes widened. "No. I won't fight you, Alex!" They can't have gotten you!" He screamed as loudly as he could, hoping someone would hear and help him. (Idk I guess he just went a different way

Tristan ran after Danny's voice and tackled the girl
"Hello Ronan" Lacie waved back
Anna followed Tristan. "Wait! She's on fire, don't! She'll burn you!"

Tess got up first, hauling Ronan to his feet as they ran towards Danny. The siblings each grabbed one of Alex's arms, hauling her away from Danny–Tessa being completely fireproof and Ronan having a tolerance for heat.
"I've fought her before," Ronan said. "Gone completely insane from the experiments."
"Tristan stop! You can't help him if you're burnt to a crisp!" Lacie yelled trying pull Tristan off.
Anna grabbed Tristan and pulled him off of the girl.

Tristan's grip loosened and he fell to the ground, his clothing and body burnt.

Anna gave Danny a half hug. "She's your sister?"
