(I agree. I just find it funny how the two most powerful of the group–Tess and Ronan–are the ones always screwing around or wrestling)

Anna tried to keep her eyes open. It had gotten darker in the arena, and her mind had finally slowed down enough for her to remember she hadn't slept in what felt like a loooooong time.

Enderstorm sat near the fire she had created, laying her head on her paws as the sky darkened.

Tess noticed and crouched next to her, curling her tail around Anna. "Sleep. You all need it. I'll keep watch."
"I'm not really tired." She mumbled, closing her eyes. A second later she shrugged and laid down on her back on the ground. "I take that back. Sleep sounds great."

Runner fully shifted, turning into a medium sized mud brown dragon, and curled around the group, laying his large wings over them to block the snow.
Anna smiled in her almost sleep. It was much warmer now, and everything was so quiet….
Then she sat up abruptly. "Wait. I think I sleep talk."

Dragon Ronan chuckled. "I think we all can handle it."

Enderstorm yawned, closing her purple eyes and falling fast asleep, her wings covering the humans as protection.
"Not if I start sleep singing. I sound like a hyena in pain with a sore throat."

Tessa snickered. "Tell you what, once we get out of this, I'll give you singing lessons so you don't have to worry about that."
Anna grinned. "You can sing?"

Tristan sat staring at the ground, surprisingly not tired.

"Promise me you'll go to sleep, and I'll sing you all a lullaby. Corny, I know. Don't judge."
"Not tired, Tristan?" Anna looked over at him. the idea of the others hearing her singing capabilities had frightened sleep away from her for the moment.

Enderstorm opened one eye, not being able to sleep long with the humanoids talking.
"YAAAAY!" Anna clapped and lay down. "I think I remember lullabies…"

Enderstorm opened both eyes and her dragon head popped up excitedly. She seemed to be smiling.
“I know some lullabies that my father sang to me when I had a bleeding fit as a child,” she said.
"That's dark, but super cute at the same time." Anna smiled.

Tessa sat down, going back to normal human form, and cleared her throat. "Ready?"
"Yes!" Anna lay down and closed her eyes, faking sleep.

Enderstorm closed her eyes, reliving bitter-sweet memories of glowing blue blood pouring out of her sweat glands, and black hands holding her gently, a deep rasping voice singing.
