Mizu: A few years ago they disappeared.

Stardew shrugged.
"Perhaps it's just the vampire in me, but I don't really see the point of emotions anyway – but how did they just disappear?"

Mizu: I woke up and didn't feel anything
Ameria: nods

(I leave for an hour and this greets me)

Aquaramis: Dimensions and demons? What?
Midnight: Okay… other than that… I'm Midnight, this is my friend slash teammate slash person-I'm-trying-to-keep-from-dying, Aquaramis.
Aquaramis: Since when have I tried to get myself killed?!
Midnight: Do you really want me to answer that?! You rush into things without thinking first! I've lost count of how many times I had to drag your ass out of a fight for both of our well beings!

"And so you're going off to get them back," Stardew muses. "Any suspicions as to where they might be?"

Midnight: A person lost their emotions? You know what, I'm not going to question it…

Ameria: She just needs to learn them again. We know she has love. Points to the hug

"Learning emotions, well, there I can't help you." She turns to Aquaramis and Midnight. "Nice to meet you both."

Midnight: Nice to meet you guys too!
Aquaramis: Grins Heyo!

Stardew grins back. "What brings you both here?"

???: nods to the newcomers Nice to meet you

Midnight: Well… Aquaramis-
Aquaramis: Interrupts with a mad gleam in his eyes I saw a Purifier walking around like the coward they are and set of to kill him!
Midnight: Sigh He then lost him and threw a fit for five minutes and next thing we know… we are here.

Stardew tilts her head, clearly amused.
"Purifier?"

Midnight: A name of an origination that made him like this with the experimentation we talked about earlier.

Stardew nods. "Ah. Why 'Purifier'? A mere propaganda front? A nickname?"

Aquaramis: They are called that because of stupidity! That is why!

Midnight: Rolls eyes Aquaramis and I are known as magis, dragonoids with the ability to control an element in nature like water or earth. We are called Shadow Magis, magis that can manipulate space in a way, like with that scythe you may or may not have seen Aquaramis summon earlier. Anyway, about two centuries ago, something happened that caused worldwide hatred against magis. What exactly happen has been lost, but it has caused many magis to be hunted down and killed. The Purifier Origination had been created a hundred years ago with one goal in mind: To purify the dragonoid race of magis. So far, they have been succeeding, even if their methods had change from kill on sight to what happened to Aquaramis, because magis are becoming rarer and rarer. While there are still a lot of water, earth, fire, plant, wind, and frost magis around, as far as we know, Aquaramis and I are the only shadow magis left. It's kind of sad really…

Aquaramis: Midnight is right. I mean, not every person is like that, my family wasn't and I was kidnapped, not sold like a slave, but even without the Purifiers, magi hatred is so far spread that average everyday people will go completely blind with rage and murder entire families if they found out that freaking ONE person is some kind of magi. Midnight knows how that feels…

Midnight: Sighs and slides his claw underneath his bang Don't remind me…

Stardew nods thoughtfully. "There're some areas that I don't like to go to in my home domain, because the people there are intolerant to the point they'll shove silver in your mouth and pour holy water on your skin if you so much as wink there. I don't think they'd experiment on Alnaschari, though. But then again, we're more widespread than you say shadow magis are. 'Purifiers'. Never trust something that promises to help you get rid of some other race."
She fiddles with her braid. "Were shadow magis rare to begin with?"

Midnight: Hell if we know. During the chaos that happened all those years ago, I wouldn't be surprised if people destroyed texts talking about magis.
Aquaramis: And technically we aren't a separate race. Its more like… Jedi? Minus that whole nonsense with magical bacteria thing?
Midnight: Since when have you watched the Star Wars movies?
Aquaramis: I've heard someone complain about them once.

???: What's Star Wars?

Aquaramis: Some movie. Like I said, I haven't seen it, just heard some guy rant about it.

Ameria: A movie about space.

Mizu: I'm not…I just know Earth, Heaven, And Hell.

Midnight: Turns to Mizu You know, the place with the stars and planets and such?

Mizu: Nope.

Aquaramis: What do you think the dots in the night sky are? Tiny Christmas lights?!

???: What's Christmas?
