Nori: grinning even more, then flips his hair. of course I did.

Valerie: Grins, a memory of him doing the exact same thing elsewhere coming back, widening her grin You know, might we practice fighting with our powers now? I would like to see how well you do with them in combat. Already knows he works better with his power under pressure

Nori: grins, yet still tentative. yeah. Sure. Let’s go.

Valerie: Once more, her smile turns devious; immediately, the ground starts to writhe, thousands of bones rising and flying at high speed towards Nori; meanwhile, above them, the light starts solidifying into solid beams, going down towards Nori as well

Nori: tries to move, tries to summon his new powers, but collapses in a ball instead, shaking

valerie: Immediately stops the light and bones; the bones collapse back into the ground, while the light retreats; she's over at Nori's side in a flash What's wrong?

Nori: slowly moving away from her, fear in his eyes. no. God, no. No. Fuck this I’m not doing this. Not with… with- he continues to move away from Valerie

Valerie: I- I'm sorry…

(Ya know, I never thought about how sanguimancy could control bones as well, but I decided to look something up to confirm a suspicion of mine… apparantly, bone marrow produces red blood cells.)

Nori: stares at her fearfully, then at his own hands, then turns to the ugly scars on his wings, huge scabbed slashes bright where they met his back. He closes his eyes and held his head in his hands

Valerie: Notices the scars as well Oh- oh damn… I- I didn't know…

Nori: takes shallow breaths as memories of that night came to light. Driving a knife into his own wings… he shakes his head. No. I don't want to be a freak anymore. Hell, I have a sister who depends on me! I have a family! I can't do this!!

Valerie: Sighs and removes the memory of this moment and just before they fought, putting on the same face as before Let's fight. She then starts using the surrounding light to build herself an avatar of light

Nori: stares blankly, wondering why the tears on his face were there. O-okay. stands, gripping the Focus

Valerie: She moves a hand, and the avatar does too; she grins Okay, now you try and create an avatar using your powers. Just imagine a being coming into existence. You don't even need to have an image of what you want it to be. Storms have their own natural elemental form, and the avatar's form will reflect that.

Nori: nods, closing his eyes and holding out a hand. Harry styles… harry styles… he mutters

Valerie: Snorts; "Harry Styles as a 50 foot avatar of pure chaos…"

Nori: opens his eyes to the most astounding thing they have ever witnessed. YOOO!!!

Valerie: Laughing Nice job! Now, some things to remember: the avatar is an actual being that you control. You could, quite possibly, accidentally step on yourself. My advice is: don't. She moves fast then, the avatar mimicing her roundhouse kick perfectly, catching the other avatar straight in the chest

Nori: nods, then covers his mouth as he beholds Mr styles getting attacked. Noooo! Jumps up, using his wings to quickly smash Harry Styles onto the other avatar

Valerie: Laughs Nice! Her avatar knock Harry out of the air, then delivers a jab to Harry's throat

Nori: doesn’t know how to fight that well, but throws punches, trying to land one on the avatar

Valerie: Laughs, her face turning focused and devious; her avatar sweeps Harry off his feet, then pins him to the ground I've won.

Sky: Has watched Val and Nori do all of this, stunned; eventually, he steps forward R-Radiance? I- is that truly you?

Nori: grumbles, then looks at Sky. oh hey man.

Sky: Continues watching Val Nori- do you know who you're dealing with right now? She's- she scares me, and I'm impossible to scare.

Valerie: Grins Boo.

Nori: thinks hard, suddenly remembering the faint memories Val tried to erase. Oh, my… oh my god.

Valerie: Looks at Nori, realizes what happened; she then sees something behind Nori and her eyes darken Oh, damn. She disappears in a flash of light, only a feather left to indicate she was ever there
