Magic? Callie signed back in almost wonder. What kind?
We don"t have enough character rp's here so I'm gonna start one.
Melody sighed again. "Alright. I have a favour to ask. Can you sign everything I say to Callie? I'm about to explain what's going on and I don't think I can write it all out."
Melody did not understand the conversation going on between Callie and Zain since she could not read sign language, thus she stood there and waited.
"Wait, magic? Actually, I shouldn't be surprised, I want to work for an organization that deals with otherworldly things, so magic shouldn't be very strange to me." Irene goes closer to the group, she had been a bit further away from them than she should.
"Numbing." Zain signed to Calle before turning to the others. "Sure. You really shouldn't trust someone you just met thougg."
"Wait!" Melody almost yelled, very very confused. "You can't use magic?" She asked the stranger who had yet to give her name. "I thought everyone could use magic."
Numbing. That…that could be interesting, Callie thought to himself, nodding again and turning to the others.
"Magic is fun, very easy to torture enemies." Zain nodded, his sleeve moved up a bit to show a feared gangs logo, the Nightshade Bunch.
Melody rolled her sleeves down to cover the tattoo on her wrist. She didn't want them associating her with them. "Yeah, magic can be fun. Can you ask Callie if he has any magic?"
Irene looks around very confused. "No? I thought no one could use magic?… We are on Earth, not a fantasy story."
"You have magic, pretty boy?" Zain signed flirtatiously, making no move to covet his tattoo.
"Well yeah, but I grew up with people who had magic. Everyone in my city used magic."
Callie looked a little surprised by Zain's question, blushing a little bit as he signed back. No. But I'm cyborg.
"Strange… but understandable…"
((I'm sorry but I'm dying for this ship))
((So am I famalam))
"Oh, I just realized how rude I've been, my name is Irene Semyonov. My pleasure to meet you."
"Ooh, fun." Zain signed back, calling out. "He's a cyborg, haven't seen one of those since he tried to take me down a few years ago. Sadly, he died, painfully."
((So am I!!!))
"Right. I think I said this earlier but I'm Melody. I have magic. I can whistle, and hm, and sing and, you know, stuff happens. I can't control it. Yet."
(They my babes.)
Irene sighed. "So I guess I'm the only 'normal' human here?"
"Sure man, I'm Zain, leader of the Nightshade bunch, if you don't know them it's not my problem. I can numb anything, people's emotions, their bodies, their perspective of me. I can also heal."
"Yeah. Well, we need to go and we need to go now. There's a house this way with the supplies I need. You're welcome to come with me but I need to go now!" She pauses and wrote down everything she just said on her notebook before showing it to Callie.
Callie read it, looking up at the others with a nod.
Melody walked past Zain and continued on the path she was originally on.
"Hey Callie, you want to go out for lunch?" Zain signed to him, he was losing interst in the others.
Callie smiled a small bit, wondering why Zain was so interested in him, but not minding it. Yes.
"Cool, anywhere you recommend? I'm pretty new to this city." Zain signed, by now completely ignoring everyone else and focusing on the pretty boy infront of him.
The Red Honey is pretty good, He signed back, blushing a little.
