Salmook: he follows after his pater and Tseth, looking up at them. clearly, something happened, but he's not sure what, and it's probably not a good idea to ask. he takes Rhiv's hand and walks alongside him.

language
Tseth: He normally liked silence, but this was almost oppressive. He thinks about speaking up, but ultimately decides against it. They get back to the path and Juni and Alex, and everything would be fine. He wouldn’t be comfortable around Rhiv for a while, if ever, but he had to try.

Resh: He moves his hand back to his side, still looking at Parvus.
Parvus: He blinks at Resh, then curls up on his shoulder.

Salmook: he starts walking a little faster, once they're past the stream. the forest here is a little more familiar. "Where are we going to sleep? What if somebody else is trying to use the path and we're in the way?"
language
Tseth: He didn’t walk across the stream, instead made the effort of flying over it. Despite any strange looks that might have gave him. After the others walked through the stream, he continued on foot with them. He didn’t seem to be listening to what Salmook said, instead extremely focused on getting back to the path.
public
Resh: He looks down at Salmook. “We’ll probably just find a spot in the forest, close to the path but not on the path. That way we aren’t in anybody’s way.” And that way no more people get kidnapped.
pets
Salmook: he nods, satisfied with that answer. "This forest is big-big. Do you think there's anyone else here?" he shudders at the memory of the cultists. "…Anyone else here that's friendly?"

Tseth: “The cultist that led me to the others killed someone. The body Resh found. I don’t think the cultists would kill one of their own, so there probably is someone that is friendly.”
public
Resh: He shrugs. “Probably. We should have someone keep watch tonight so no more people get attacked. And by someone, I mean me.”

Rhiv: he grunts. he's listening in, but he's not really in a talking mood.
Salmook: he shrugs. "I don't know. Something scary people hurt their own. And then they eat them! RAH!" he raises his arms like he's trying to be scary.
Rhiv: he tries to hide a smirk. the kid isn't wrong - at least, not if he's talking about their homeland. he takes a deep breath. "Guess I'll watch, then. Used to it."

Tseth: He glares slightly at Resh and Rhiv. “We can take shifts. That way we can all get some sleep.” I probably won’t either way.
public
Resh: He returns Tseth’s glare. “Fine.” Good luck getting me to sleep, though.
pets
Rhiv: he narrows his eyes. "I don't need sleep." he does, but that's not their business.

Tseth: He rolls his eyes. “I’d think the only sleep you’ve gotten in days was when you passed out. You don’t have to sleep while we all take shifts, but you can at least try.”

Resh: He rolls his eyes at Rhiv and Tseth. “I’ll take the first watch.” He doesn’t really seem to care whether he’s heard or not.
pets
Rhiv: he crosses his arms at Tseth. he does NOT want to sleep around these strangers. hell, one of them had to promise to be trustworthy. that's, like- the complete opposite of trustworthy! "I'll be fine. I don't need or want to sleep."
language
Tseth: This man- “Sounds good. As I said you don’t have to sleep. But we will be taking shifts for who’s on watch while that happens.” Being nice to Rhiv is going to be a real treat.
public
Resh: He looks around, then spots the path, along with Juni and Alex. “Oh, good. We’re back.”
