Parvus: He backs up slightly, then pounces on Tseth’s shoe. He just kind of stands there, looking around.

Rhiv: he blinks a few times. are they really that close to the path? he shakes his head at Tseth. "No. Further." he takes Salmook's hand before the boy can protest, and walks him deeper into the woods.

Tseth: “Alright then.” He looks down at Parvus, and places him back on the ground off of his shoe before following Rhiv.
Ater: He sneaks up on Parvus, batting him lightly before running to catch up with Tseth and the others.

Rhiv: he stops a bit further into the forest. he looks back towards the path… he can't see it any more than he did earlier, to be honest. he's not about to settle down for nothing, though. Rhiv glances at Tseth.

Ater: He hisses in response to Parvus, hitting him again.
Tseth: He looks at Rhiv, and then back at where the path would be. Can’t see it now. He nods at Rhiv. “Path’s not visible. Anyone passing by won’t be able to see us.” He looks down at Ater and Parvus, watching them.

Parvus: He growls at Ater, lashing his tail, and then pounces.

Rhiv: great. he sits down on a log, rubbing his temples. what an awful day. "We'll start losing sun soon. Any plans on starting a fire?" he shakes his head. he's used to fire being mandatory to not freeze to death during the night. "I mean - how do you plan on being able to see anything? Lunelight only gets you so far."
Salmook: he sits in Rhiv's lap and hugs him. "I think, maybe, they have magic. Right, Tsethy?" he blows a raspberry. "Uh, uh - Tseth?"

Tseth: He tilts his head at Salmook. What does he mean? Oh, right- “Better sight, yeah. Not magic though. It’s easier to use the other vision for night—Alex and I have the ability to see heat signatures.”
Ater: He paws Parvus off of him, making an angry sound and then moving to stand between Tseth’s feet. He stares at Parvus.

Rhiv: heat… signatures? strange way of saying heat vision, but alright. he's more than a little skeptical of that, honestly, but they've already wasted a good chunk of his day with this trust nonsense. "Well fine then." he snaps his fingers at Salmook. "Hey, hey - ouch. You're squeezing the air out of me."
Salmook: he looks up at Rhiv. "Sorry, Pater!" he gets off of Rhiv and lays in the grass again. he rolls over again, although it's halfhearted. "This grass is too… grassy." he flips onto his stomach.
