Juni: She blinks a few times, then looks at Parvus for a moment before heading back to the clearing.

Salmook: still standing near Rhiv, Salmook shakes him at little. "I think we should go. I don't think I like the river anyways."
Rhiv: oh, for stars' sake. not again. he tries to blink some sleepiness away, but that's making it worse. STAY AWAKE. he rubs at his eyes. "Give me few a heartbeats… You go, and I'll catch up."
Salmook: he's not too convinced by that, but oh well. "Didn't you sleep last night?" he's almost out of sight by the time asks, and he'll leave once he gets an answer.
Rhiv: he shrugs. "For an hour or so. I think. Maybe not." he yawns again.

Tseth: He quickly makes it to the clearing, much faster than it was on foot. He looks around to see some of the deer being cooked and Ater curled up in Resh’s lap, assumedly asleep.
Alex: He looks over at Tseth and smiles a bit. “Welcome back. You okay?”
Tseth: He nods, returning the smile. “Yeah, I’m fine. No thanks to running into Rhiv next to the river, though.” Or the river in general.

Resh: He looks up from petting Ater and nods at Tseth. “Congratulations, you didn’t die or get kidnapped out there.”
Juni: She looks back at Rhiv and Salmook. She’d probably be sprinting by now, if they would just hurry up. She taps her foot a few times, clearly impatient. She’s just eager to get back to Resh.

Salmook: he hurries up to Juni and shrugs at her. "Pater says he's sleepy - he's always sleepy - but he'll catch up to us - hopefully, I think."
Rhiv: maybe he'd stay up a little longer if he broke his finger? no, that's a little too extreme. just a little. he sits by the riverbank on the verge of passing out. he wavers in and out of consciousness, and the screaming in the back of his mind can't stop it. "Ugh."

Tseth: “Felt like dying. But that’s besides the point.” He tilts his head as he watches Ater and Resh. “I see you two have become fast friends.”

Resh: He huffs at Tseth. “Yeah, somehow.”
Juni: She mumbles slightly under her breath. “Maybe because he somehow sleeps less than Resh does.”

(rhiv literally only being a cranky not old man because he decides to sleep every other day sometimes every once in a while-)

Rhiv: he groans and collapses, passing out again.
Salmook: he looks back towards the river, although he still keeps pace with Juni. "He'll come back soon - he said so." he turns back to Juni. "Do you think Tsethy's already back with the others?"

Tseth: He laughs a little and sits down next to Alex. “He might hate you the next second. Or not, who knows.”
Alex: He huffs a bit at Tseth and looks up at him. “Your cat is crazy, that’s what he is.”
Tseth: He smirks at Alex. “And so am I, but you like being around me.” He nudges Alex’s side, which gives him a nudge in return.
Alex: He rolls his eyes. “You’re not crazy.”

Resh: He shrugs. “Aren’t we all a little crazy?”
Juni: She looks down at Salmook. “Probably. He got a pretty good head start.”

Alex: He huffs a little but smiles. “I guess so. I’ve done plenty of crazy things myself.”
Tseth: “Yeah, because of your lack of a brain.” He looks around for a few moments. “I wonder when the others will get here.”

Resh: He laughs a little at Tseth and Alex, then looks down at Ater and pets him again.

Salmook: he steps out onto the path, just behind Juni and Parvus. halfway there! he stops, turning back towards the river for a bit. there's a bit of unease in his expression. where's his pater? Rhiv should've caught up by now. Salmook reluctantly follows after Juni again.
Rhiv: he's gone as stiff as a stone. four days worth of not sleeping has finally caught up to him. he's too right now tired to even dream.

Ater: He pops his head up as Resh pets him again, looking around. He climbs out of Resh’s lap when he sees Tseth and walks over to him.
Tseth: He looks down at Ater and starts scratching under his chin. “Finally decided to say hi, hm?”

Resh: He blinks a few times at Ater, then shrugs and shifts to a more comfortable position.
Parvus: He looks at Salmook, chittering, then flares out his wings and starts flying back to the clearing.
Juni: “Parvus-“ She starts running to keep up with Parvus.

Salmook: "Parvus! Wait!" welp, more running it is. it's more of a jog, really. he has a good idea of where he's going, so he's not too worried about falling behind.

Juni: Once she gets to the clearing, she starts running towards Resh, slamming into him and hugging him tightly.
Resh: He makes a quiet, pained noise, then hugs Juni back, laughing. “Well, hi-“
Juni: She seems to just melt into Resh’s embrace, burying her face in his chest and mumbling incoherently back.
