Alex: He laughs a bit at Juni and Resh.
Tseth: He laughs along with Alex, but looks over and notices Salmook worried about something. Rhiv isn't along with the two of them… figures. "Hey Salmook, what's making you so anxious?" He had a feeling he knew already, but he might as well ask.

Salmook: he frowns a little at Tseth. "We left Pater at the river. He- he said he'd catch up… but he didn't! What if something happened?" he tenses a little at the thought. his Pater is strong! …at home. here? Salmook's not very sure. he can't help but feel worried right now.

Salmook: to say he's relieved by that would be an understatement. he squeezes Tseth into a quick hug. for someone as small as Salmook, he's surprisingly strong. no wonder Rhiv's always complaining about it.

Alex: He watches as Tseth leaves and hen looks at everyone. "If anyone wants food, some of the meat is cooked."

Juni: She settles to a more comfortable position on Resh’s lap, looking around at everyone else.
Resh: He wraps his cloak around Juni, then looks up at Tseth. His expression says something like ‘why do we even bother?’ After Tseth leaves, he looks at Alex and shakes his head slightly, which earns him a disapproving look from Juni.

Alex: He sighs a bit at Resh. “Guess I should’ve said ‘everyone needs to eat some food.’” He glances over at Salmook, waiting for a response. He had a feeling the kid would also say no. Personally he couldn’t understand why people wouldn’t eat anything, the last time anyone ate was yesterday morning.

Resh: He narrows his eyes at Alex, then sighs. “Fair enough.”
Juni: She huffs at Resh, then snuggles a little closer to him. She’s apparently pretty clingy today.
Parvus: He squawks at Alex and runs over to him, jumping on his shoulder.

Salmook: he shudders. no thanks, he'll be fine, he thinks. he shakes his head at Alex and looks in the direction Tseth left. hopefully Rhiv is alright out there.

Tseth: He decided to fly back over to the river so that it would take less time. He figured Rhiv would still be there. But if he wasn’t, that would complicate things.
Alex: He furrows his brows a bit at Salmook. He was the one who wanted to find food in the first place, wasn’t he? Oh well. He gets up and hands sticks with the cooked meat to Resh and Juni before getting his own.
