Kaito smiled softly at the response that Rantaro gave him. He was glad that they could just stay there and cuddle for most of the day. It was a nice and calming thought for him. Despite everything that had been going on, it seemed like that day was going to be a good one.
"Perfect," he said. "Today just seems like a good day to do nothing but cuddle with each other."
“I love you..” rantaro whispered, holding kaito a but tighter
Kaito didn't mind it when Rantaro held him a bit tighter. He honestly enjoyed it, and while nothing was official between them, he knew that they would probably end up dating at some point. The thought of being with the other was enough to make him happy as well. He really enjoyed being with Rantaro.
"Honestly, I love you, too," he whispered back after a moment. "I really do…"
Rantaro smiled happily, kissing at the others neck
Kaito chuckled softly at the other's actions. He was definitely enjoying all of the affection that Rantaro was giving him. Something about it just made him feel really happy. It was a feeling that he definitely wanted to have more of. Maybe he would spend his life with Rantaro after all.
Rantaro nestled into his new partner, yawning softly
Kaito couldn't help but smile at Rantaro's actions. He was definitely really happy because of the other being there. It was surprising how quickly everything changed, but things somehow ended up being fine in the end. Despite all of the drama, the day after it all would be a calm one.
"I love doing this with you," Kaito whispered softly. "Maybe you should go back to sleep for a bit, though. You still seem tired."
“I planned on it..” he mumbled
Kaito nodded in response. "Then please go back to sleep," he told the other softly. "I apologize if I kept you up. You just need to sleep a bit more, and maybe I'll go back to sleep for a bit, too. I'm not really sure."

Kaito held onto Rantaro as he closed his eyes. He was still pretty tired, so he figured that going back to sleep for a little while wouldn't have been that bad of an idea. Besides, he enjoyed cuddling with Rantaro and found himself comfortable doing so.
Rantaro slowly fell asleep, nestled into kaito
Kaito fell asleep not long after Rantaro did. He truly was exhausted, although he would've refused to admit it. It became pretty obvious, though, as he did end up sleeping through the next five hours completely undisturbed.
Rantaro had gotten up at some point, making food and eating a portion and putting a portion up for kaito
After a while, Kaito woke up feeling refreshed. He finally felt like he had some energy that day, although he was unaware that he had slept through the past five hours. He thought that only a couple hours had passed when he woke up and looked at Rantaro.
"Oh, hey, you're already up," he said softly as he sat up. "I guess that was a short nap for you, huh?"
“Yeah I only slept around two hours, “ he said softly
Kaito nodded in response. "Well, how long have you been up, then?" he asked softly. He figured that he had only slept for a couple of hours, so the response from the other was surprising. "I could've sworn that I only slept for a couple of hours…"
“You slept for almost five darling,” he mumbled and put his plate into the sink
Kaito was definitely surprised to hear that. He wasn't sure how he ended up sleeping through an entire five hours, but he was glad that he at least felt energized. He was a bit concerned that he had slept for so long, but at least he was energized again. That was all that mattered to him at the time.
"Really?" he asked softly. "I did not think that i would've slept for so long…"
“You exhausted yourself, I expected at least eight” he said
"You really thought that I would've slept for even longer than I did?" Kaito asked him. It still seemed surprising that he could have been that exhausting to begin with. Now that he was energized, he had forgotten just how tired he was earlier that day. "I didn't think that I exhausted myself that badly…"
“You did but still, at least your better
Kaito nodded in response. He was definitely glad that he was doing better than he had been earlier. "Yeah, that's true. I can assure you that I'm fine now."
“Good, I'm glad”
Kaito smiled softly at Rantaro. "It's nice to see that you're no longer worried about me. I told you that I'd be fine."
“Wanna eat?”
"Yeah, I could go for some food right now," Kaito responded. "If you made something, then I know that I'll enjoy it."

Kaito nodded in response as he stood up. Luckily, he was doing a lot better than he was before taking a nap, so he could actually support himself without any issues. Even he seemed to be a bit relieved by that as he got his food before returning to the bedroom and sitting on the bed next to Rantaro.
"Thanks for the food, by the way," he smiled softly.
“Mhm, I hope it tastes good”
