Another Supernatural RP! (2/4 for now, but one more person is welcome to join)

SAM: "Johnathan Williamson had opened a store in the hotel, a store that was closed before the earthquake hit, and wasn't replaced. Samuel had helped Johnathan open the store."

LEVI: "Definitely a cause to be angry about…. Anything else?"

SAM: "Yeah…. Jonathan was never properly charged, and it seems that Caleb, angry over his father's murder, went after him and challanged him to a duel."

DEAN: "That was still a thing back then?"

SAM: "Yep."

LEVI: "I take it that Caleb won the duel."

SAM: [Nods.]

HARRIET: ”So… young Caleb decides to take good ol’ western-style justice into his own hands, shoots his daddy's killer and accidentally makes a vengeful spirit outta Johnathan who somehow manages to imprison people that check into the hotel he got cheated out of.” [Whistles] ”Sounds like this business deal was just bad all around. Any ideas on how to do a salt and burn when we can't leave the building?”

SAM: "Seems like that's it."

LEVI: "Johnathan probably unintentionally left something of his behind. Spirits can attach themselves to objects that they held as extremely high personal items in life."

HARRIET: [Nods] ”Then we would need to know what kind of man he was. 1920? Could be anything from a pocket watch to a favorite pistol. Maybe some kinda ’good luck’ charm he never left home without.” [Rubs her neck] ”Any clues as to where the original shop was?”

SAM: [Closing his laptop.] "Even hair or an old piece of clothing would be enough."

LEVI: "We'd have to get down to the basement, where the archives are held, to get to the old blueprints." [Going to grab his gear. Looking at the windows nervously.]

HARRIET: ”Good a place to start as any.” [Notices Levi’s discomfort.] ”Levi, you alright?”

LEVI: "I…. Uh…. I'm fine." [Puts on his very best poker-face, no sign that he's being dishonest.] "I just hate ghosts; they're unpredictable at times."

HARRIET: [Still concerned] ”If you say so, dude. Yeah, ghosts are tricky pricks.” [Double checks her pockets. Nods once to herself.] ”I think the basement is this way.”

[The Winchesters follow after her after getting what they think they might need.]

DEAN: "So Harry, how'd you get into hunting?"

HARRIET: [Raises a brow at the nickname but doesn't comment. She shrugs.] ”Some Hunter saved my grandmother from a werewolf when she was younger and I'm the only one in the family that believed her. Mom and Dad said she was just making up stories but… I started looking into the unnatural and…” [blushes] ”You know how dumb kids are? One time at a sleepover someone brought out a board and it actually worked… so I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a box of salt.” [chuckles] ”That was the last time I was invited.”

LEVI: "What have you hunted?"

HARRIET: ”Eh, the usual stuff, I guess. Ghosts, Vamps, werewolves… Dealt with my fair share of cursed items.” [Blushes with a light smile] ”Met a couple of Fae once or twice.”

LEVI: [Intrigued, remembering his first encounter with some fae.] "We have experience with fae as well; its a LONG story!"

HARRIET: [approaches the basement door and checks the mood ring she wears.] “Yeah? What type of fae? I’m only asking cause some are pretty hard to deal with. I’d ask how it went but you boys seem like you came out on top and we got a ghost to deal with.”

SAM: "It was an electric fae that we had a run in with."

[The group traverses down several hallways and corridors.]

LEVI: [His enhanced senses allow him to hear things that Sam, Dean, and Harriet can't. He hears several voices saying 'welcome to the Canella Hotel'.] That's pretty much straight out of Hotel California. [Uneasiness settles as a rock tossed into a lake in his stomach.]

HARRIET: ”Wow. Aren't those are pretty rare?” [She rubs the back of her neck thoughtfully] ”I think we should be getting close.” [Her ring is now a light blue darkening on the edges.]

LEVI: [Chuckles nervously.] "Yeah, they're pretty rare, just about as rare as shadow faes." [Starting to pick up on the scents of dust and mildew wafting up from the basement.]

HARRIET: “Heh, yeah. Those guys are trouble.” [As she glances around the hallways her eyes get a slightly glazed look] “Geez, this place is built like a prison. OUCH!!” [She shakes the hand with the ring on it as if she got burned and her other hand goes to the back of her neck. The glazed look is gone.]

SAM: [Looks at her, clearly concerned.] "Are you alright?"

HARRIET: ”Yeah, I think so. Just thinking that I might kill my Bae when I get home.” [She has a slightly nervous look on her face.] ”Did any of you guys see anything?”

[All of the Winchesters shake their heads 'no'.]

LEVI: [Notices the look on her face, but can also smell her nervousness. Places a hand on her shoulder.] "You've been stuck in here for a while now Harriet; I'm sure that your lover misses you too…. It's ok; we'll all get out of here."

((I don't want her to completely find out about Levi's 'condition' until sometime in whatever RP we do after this one. It's fine for her to become a bit suspicious/worried about how he acts at times though!))

HARRIET: [She lets out a brief sigh] ”Yeah, I know he does. And I know how he’ll react when we see each other again. I’m honestly sure I’ll react the same way. I don't really know you guys but I know there’s more out there then just bad ones. My Bae…” [Raising the ring hand up to show it off ] ”There’s a couple special charms on this. Originally it was my grandmothers but it doesn't detect moods anymore. It’s kinda an EMF and EFM detector. And it gives me a bit of a shock when I’m affected by something malicious.”

LEVI: "Then it means that we're getting close." [Pulls a iron rod out of his bag.]

SAM: "Oh, we've let some good ones go before."

DEAN: "Peeeew, that's down right rank!" [Waving a hand in front of his face now that they're approaching the basement stairs.] "Smells worse than Sam's bean burrito farts."

SAM: [Quickly glares at Dean before the stench really hits him.]

DEAN: [Takes the lead from Harriet, and guides them down, shining a flashlight down the stairs.]

HARRIET: [Briefly smiles at Sam] ”I’m glad to hear that. But remind me not to join you guys for Mexican food.” [She gives a half playful wink before sliding on some iron knuckles from her pocket and turning on a pocket flashlight.] ”Hope we are close. I can't wait to get out of here.”

LEVI: [Following behind Sam and touches the ground floor of the cold, dank basement. His eyes quickly adjust to the darkness, making the need of a flashlight pointless for him. Spotting the lightswitch, he runs a hand along the wall and flips it on.]

[The basement is lit up by five rows of lights, revealing that its used for storage. Several rows of shelves and filing cabinets are lined back-to-back.]

DEAN: [Groans.] "This sucks!"

SAM AND LEVI: [Ignore Dean's comment and go about looking for the original hotel blueprints/floor plans.]
