HARRIET: [chuckling] ”The joys of being a hunter; new injuries every week.” How much worse? Huh, not gonna actually ask them but if those books are accurate then I should at least read the cliff notes. [turns to Levi] ”You know I am. I probably said this already but, I can't wait to get outta here.”
Another Supernatural RP! (2/4 for now, but one more person is welcome to join)
LEVI: [Cocks his head to the side a little bit, looking at Harriet, grining.] "That was a rhetorical question, Har!" [Grabs the bag with his gear and the floorplans in it.]
HARRIET: [playfully smacks Levi’s shoulder with her good hand.] ”Smartass. I’m gonna grab a couple of things from my room real quick and I’ll meet you guys in the lobby.”
(Sorry that I've been away for a while. Life was, well… life…. That said, I'm gonna read though this to remind myself of things!)
(No worries. Totally understand.)
LEVI: [Winces in mock-pain.] "Ouch."
SAM: [Rolls his eyes.]
HARRIET: [chuckles lightly] ”Wimp.” [leaves for her room]
[A short time later the group has gathered in the lobby, ignoring strange looks from other 'guests'.]
HARRIET: ”So, Levi, where exactly did those blueprints say we needed to go?”
LEVI: "To the management offices, next to some storage and maintenance closets; Caleb had them built in place of the store/gift shop." [Sighs.] "We're still not sure what it is that we're looking for, but I think that we'll know what it is when we see it." I hope.
HARRIET: [bites her lip] Please let it be that easy. ”I hope so. Alright, lead the way tough guy.”
LEVI: [Leads the group over to the side of the lobby, where there's doors marked 'MANAGEMENT' and 'STAFF ONLY'.]
HARRIET: [smirking] ”I think I’m suddenly dyslexic. All these signs say ”Come on in”.”
DEAN: [Chuckles at the comment.]
LEVI: [Cracks the door to the office open, being cautious as he moves into the room.] Usually dad takes the lead, but I guess he figures he can keep a better eye on Uncle Sammy if he's close by.
HARRIET: [follows close behind, looking around the room. Her ring turning a light blue.]
(Ok, explain the whole ring thing…. What the colors mean.)
(In this case, blue means ghosts or someone with ice magic is nearby. I have an explanation for every color. It’ll take me a little while to type them all…)
CALEB: [Materialized in a corner.] "It's customary to knock before entering one's domain, gentlemen and miss."
LEVI: Here's our chance to get some more information, and possibly some answers.
HARRIET: Dean don't screw this up again. ”Sorry. We didn't know you were here, Caleb.”
DEAN: "What's the deal with this joint?"
CALEB: [Expression is solemn.] "Ah, that…. Johnathan is responsible for that."
SAM: "Why though? What's the point of trapping people in the hotel?"
CALEB: "Something to do with 'being cheated'. He thinks that by trapping people here that he'll gain the energy to rectify things."
HARRIET: ”But how is he doing this? And what about these weird dreams?”
CALEB: "The dreams are being caused by something else, something monstrous."
HARRIET: Should have known this wouldn't be easy. ”Do you… or your father know what it is?”
CALEB: [Shakes his head 'no', a grim expression on his face.]
HARRIET: [holds back a groan and runs her good hand through her hair] ”Alright. What about where it is?”
CALEB: [Appears nervous.] "M-m-my fa-father's chambers, miss…. Though I highly urge that you don't go there!"
LEVI: I'm more than capable of holding my own.
DEAN: "Great, another job to do before we can leave!"
HARRIET: ”I appreciate your concern, Caleb, but I ain't playing Daphne to Fred, Shaggy, and Scooby behind me. [she gestures to Dean, Sam, and Levi respectively.] I'm a big girl who can hold her own.”
