Bo groans softly and Dagger purrs in comfort. He takes a small breath, holding onto Daggers neck.

Silvernose nudges Ireth. "Not now girl. No flying."

Dagger slowly lets Bo down. He clutches his side. "Who's the chief here?" He questions.

"My father Hiccup. I already told you that," Ireth replied, scratching Silvernose.

"My name is Bo Ironside. I'm the- was the son of the chief. Please. I need your help." He brishes his hair from his eyes.

Ireth stopped scratching Silvernose and looked at Bo. "You're the son of a chief? We need to get you to my father."

Bo bites his lip. "Hurry. Please. I need to talk to him. My father has been killed. My island has been destroyed by dragons. We heard of how your father tamed them." He says softly.

"Climb on Toothless. We'll take you to my father," Ireth ordered. "Dagger is still a bit weak, and Toothless is trustworthy. It's not far, but you shouldn't walk."

Bo nods, grimacing a little in pain. "Stay." He says gently. Dagger tilts his head, then nudges his rider affectionately.

Ireth climbed on Silvernose, and almost immediately she 'passed out'.

A girl lied on the ground, long braid behind her. The braid was the same colour as Ireth's. Silvernose slowly walked up to Ireth as the angle of seeing changed. Silvernose nudged Ireth, whining. Ireth's left leg was missing, and her right arm was visibly broken.

Ireth 'woke' up with a gasp. She was on the back of Silvernose, and they were standing in front of her parents. Hiccup had Bo's arm around his shoulder, and both Hiccup and Astrid looked worried.

Bo looks at her, his eyes filled with concern. "You alright?" He says gently.

Ireth slid off Silvernose. "Yeah, I'm fine. I had another one," She replied to Bo, then turned to her parents. She was a little shaken up.

Bo blinks a few times. He grunts, holding his side. "S-sorrry… but we need to talk."

Ireth looked at Bo, confused. "We-we do?"

"All of you…" He mutters, glancing at the chief, his wife, and his daughter.

"Come into our home," Hiccup said, leading the way. Ireth kinda trailed behind the other three. She kept looking at her dad's missing leg.

He nods, grunting softly.

"So what do you need to talk about?" Astrid asked.

He sits down slowly, pain etching his features. "My home was attacked." He mutters, "My father, the chief is dead. Our food has been burned, and our dragons were either killed or taken hostage. Dagger and I barely escaped to retrieve help. We've been turned down many times, some not even allowing up to land. P-please…" He manages.

Hiccup knelt to be eye level with Bo. "You are welcome here. We never turn anyone away unless they deserve it."

Bo nods in thanks, "Please… my people are starving…" He mutters, "I have to return to them… they could die…" He grunts, bowing his head as he winces in pain.

"You need to stay here," Astrid said. "A few of us will go to your island and try to rescue your people. Ireth, you will be in charge while your father and I go. Does Dagger know the way?"

He nods, "Dagger knows." He says softly, leaning back. He runs a hand through his hair. "P-please…"

"Astrid, you go find the twins. I'll find Fishlegs and Snotlout. Ireth, you stay here with Bo," Hiccup told Ireth, before he and Astrid ran outside.

Bo grabs Hiccups arm. "Please… Be careful." He mutters."give this to Dagger. He'll understand." He gives Hiccup his family crest.

"I will," Hiccup said, then ran outside after Astrid.
"So….son of a chief?" Ireth said, trying to strike up a conversation.

He nods and shrugs. "Yeah I guess…"

"Can you tell me about where you lived?"

"It was green. Prosperous. We lived in peace with the dragons, they protected us if we fed them and gave them shelter. It was my grandma who was the first to ride a dragon. To tame one and to teach my people." He says softly.
