"Okay, okay, I get it!"

"Silverbrook!" Finchkit came trotting up the them from the fresh kill pile. "Are we leaving soon?"

“And where are we ‘leaving too’?” Silverbrook asked, turning to the kit.

"My ceremony is today! Remember? We're going to the moonpool!"

"Oh, yes." Silverbrook muttered, she has clearly forgot about it. "Thanks for reminding me!" She purred.

"Yep! So when can we go?"

"We shall depart at before dusk," Silverbrook confirmed, giving her chest a few likes she continued, "When we are traveling to the moonpool, remember to stay about three fox-lengths from the lake."

"Okay! Do I need to prepare in any way beforehand? Travelling herbs? Not eat?"

“You should eat,” she purred, “I’ll prepare the traveling herbs.” Glancing at the sky, she let out a small sigh befor padding back into her den, “oh, and one thing,” she retorted, not looking back at him, “Tell Jaysong to keep an eye on Oakfur, she is soon to kitter and I want someone watching her while we are gone.”

"Yes ma'am." Finchkit went off to find Jaysong. "Hello? Jaysong? Silverbrook needs you to keep an eye on Oakfur while we're gone."

Foxstar walked out purring. She swished her tail in worry. She thought, Maybe I could visit moonpool tonight…. gotta ask Silverbrook.

Placing a few burnet leaves into a leaf wrap, she made another for the ‘new to-be’ medicine cat apprentice.

"Greetings, Silverbrook." Foxstar purred.

“Hello Foxstar,” she greeted, “has the dusk patrol been sent out yet?”

"Yes, just now. I was actually going to ask you about something."

Finchkit was walking into the medicine den. "Yep! Ready when you are!"

"Foxstar?" Silverbrook called, looking back at the leaders den, "You're coming?"

"Foxstar's coming with us? R-really?" Oh Starclan, now I have to be on even better behavior! The leader of the clan!

"Yes, she is coming with us" Silverbrook put in, liking her chest fur impatiently, she added, "If Foxstar doesn't arrive soon, we're going to be late for the meeting!"

Finchkit cleared her throat quietly. "Will we be seeing other medicine cats?"
