“ I- I love you..”
"I-I'm glad…but that was sudden…" Kaito sighed softly, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he confessed his feelings for Kiibo a moment prior.
“ you just said you love me!”
"I-I did not think I said that out loud…" Kaito sighed as he looked away. "It's true…but I dunno why I feel this way about you…"
“ me neither but I like it,”
"I like it, too… I guess it's just because you're actually supporting me…"
“I guess” he said with a laugh
"You know…Kokichi and I would've been together for a year a week from now if this didn't happen…" Kaito sighed softly. "I should've realized that things weren't healthy… We argued a lot…and I just wanted to hide how I truly felt about things to avoid that… I felt bad over everything…"
“ I'm sorry”
Kaito shook his head. "Why are you sorry…?"
“ Because I couldn't protect you”
Kaito shook his head again. "I never told anyone how bad things were with him… You wouldn't have known… I only showed everyone the good side of our love…"
“ Why?” kiibo asked and tilted his head
"I didn't even see them as bad… I dunno why I didn't figure out that constant arguments were not a part of a healthy relationship… I just thought that I was being annoying…" Kaito sighed softly. "I didn't wanna worry anyone, and the few I told this stuff to advised me to end it, but I thought they were overreacting…and now all I did was get myself hurt…"
“ let me show you a healthy relationship”
Kaito blushed a bit more at that. "Are you…asking me to be your boyfriend…?"
“ yes, yes I am.” he said with a chuckle
Kaito smiled softly and nodded. "Well…I accept," he replied softly. "Just…you do promise that this will be a healthy relationship, right…?"
“ yes, I promise.”
Kaito nodded and cuddled closer to Kiibo. "Thank you, Kiibo… I love you so much."

Kaito looked at Kiibo with a soft smile on his face. "Thanks for this…"
“Mhm” kiibo hummed softy
Kaito smiled as he looked back at the night sky. "It's so pretty out here tonight. It's calming."
“ yeah, it is a petty sight “ he said as he watched kaito
"It's always nice to look at something I enjoy, so I love watching the stars," Kaito smiled. "I also love being with you."
