Kokichi growled and tried taking Kaito from Kiibo's grasp. "I said let me have him!"
Even as Kokichi grabbed him, Kaito remained silent. He didn't want to argue, even if he hated Kokichi by that point. He wanted his ex to go away and stop touching him, but he didn't say anything. For some reason, it was hard for him to tell if Kokichi was genuinely sorry or just trying to get him back. He didn't want to be involved, even if he felt the feeling to fight Kokichi after his comments and actions.
Kiibo growled and swung on the boy, nailing him upside the heaf
That hit was enough to knock Kokichi out entirely, ending the interaction in a second.
"So…um…is everything okay…?" Kaito asked Kiibo softly. "You…you seem angry…"
“ oh I'm pissed but for other reasons “ he said and kicked kokivhis limp body
Kaito sighed softly. "Why are you mad…? Is it just Kokichi…or did I do something…?"
“ it's Koichi, that's what's wrong.”
"I assume that you knocked him out, so you can calm down now…" Kaito replied. "I don't wanna see you angry…"
“ I'm sorry”
Kaito shook his head. "No need… I was just worried that we were about to argue…"
“ no we weren't about to argue”
Kaito nodded. "I know that now, but Kokichi and I argued a lot, so I was worried that you being mad would start an argument, too…"
“ no baby, I will never argue with you..”
Kaito sighed and hugged Kiibo. "Promise…?"
“Promise”
Kaito nodded. "Thank you… I don't wanna argue… I just wanna be loved…"
“ I will always love you”
Kaito smiled a bit at that. "And I appreciate that… Thank you…"

Kaito blinked back tears as he continued to hug Kiibo. "I love you…" he said softly. "Dunno why I feel like crying right now…"
“ I don't know either but let's go home.. “
Kaito nodded. "Yeah…we should really head home…"
Kiibo nodded and picked kaito up
"You…don't have to carry me…" Kaito sighed softly. "I don't mind it, but you don't have to if you don't want to…"
“ I want to kai, I really do.”
Kaito nodded. "If that's what you want, then continue doing this… I like this…"
“ I love you.”
"I love you, too, Kiibo… Thank you for actually loving me…"
“ I always will.”
Kaito nodded as he felt a tear fall down his face. "Why am I crying…? All you did is say that you'll always love me…"
