He laughed. "Oh, I see." He replied. "Hmm…" He shrugged slightly, and kept walking around aimlessly.
“What’s your favorite color?”
"Hm…orange. Not like…bright orange, but more of a soft orange." He replied after a moment. "You?"
“Green-blue. Like the color of tropical seas. But it clashes with my hair so I don’t wear a lot of it. And I haven’t found a bracelet in that color- which I’m dying to have- so I can wear the color all the time. If you don’t mind me asking- why orange?”
He nodded. "Oh, that's a pretty color." He agreed. "Uhm…no real reason, I don't think. I've just always liked that color. And what about you? Why do you like that color so much?"
“I don’t know. I guess it’s just pretty- that’s a lie. I like it because when I was 5, my best friend at the time gave me an ice cream necklace with blue-green ice cream. I wore that thing everywhere until I had to take it off for a gymnastics party and I never found it. Are you getting tired carrying me around?” Emilé leaned over his shoulder to look at him but her hair feel in he face.
Caedmon nodded. "Oh, that's cool." He replied. He blew out through his mouth, blowing her hair out of his face. "Nah. You don't weigh that much." He replied with a grin.
Alpha laughed and pulled her hair behind her, “Oop-sorry about the hair, it’s a little crazy, just be glad it’s not in it’s true curly form today.”
He grinned. "It's fine. My mom's is curly too. Only reason I'm not is because of my dad. I think." He shrugged, chuckling softly.
Alpha looked around, “Yeah, well your mom has perfect ringlets, I have a frizzy ugly mess. Where are we going?”
Caedmon nodded, then shrugged. "Here there everywhere, insanity is on the horizon, m' dear." He replied, quoting a story he had once read.
Alpha cocked her head, “I guess that makes sense. Just a little bit. But then again, everything does in its own way.”
Caedmon nodded, and chuckled softly. "Mhm. But in all seriousness, I have no idea where I'm going."
Alphas voice was lilting as she spoke. “ oh really? Hmm. What about that park I see down the street.” She pointed to a small park one block ahead of them with a duck pond and a few benches in the shade.
He nodded, and changed directions as he headed towards the park. "Alright." He hummed softly as he walked, arms still linked under her legs to support her.
“What are you humming? I like it.” Alpha had never heard the tune before.
He thought for a moment. "I… don't actually know. My mother used to hum it all the time."
“Oh, well, it’s really pretty and your voice sounds really good. Do you know any second era songs?”
He smiled. "Thanks. And…no, not really." he replied, shaking his head a little. "Why? Do you?"
“Yeah. I know some. They’re really good! We’re here! It’s really pretty.” Alpha looked around at the simple but pretty park.
He nodded. "Alright. Yeah, it is! Want me to set you down, or what?" he asked, glancing up at her.
“Sure! Thanks for carrying me.”
