MARVEL Second Gen (CLOSED)

Jackson glares at her but winces,, holding his head

"Hold still," she repeated firmly.

"Fine." He snarls

She gave him a hard look. "I'm trying to help you," she said steadily.

"I know. That's why I'm doing as you said " he barks

She pressed her lips together and finished. "There, you should be alright. I grabbed your gun from the ship, so please use it." She stood up and wrapped a cloth from the med kit around her burnt hand.

"To do what?" Jackson sat up from the snow.

She looked back at him over her shoulder. "For the mission."

"Oh. Well duh." He stands, grabbing the sniper. It was steaming from the heat and snow.

"Does it still work?" she asked.
Suddenly, a man appeared behind her and pinned both her arms behind her back. With his free hand, he pressed a knife blade to her throat.
"One move and she's dead!" he threatened. One his shoulder, the HYDRA logo stood out against the darkness of his jacket. He'd been sent to investigate the crash, along with a brigade of men who were on their way.

Jackson raises the gun, "I can find out. Let her go."

The man prepared to slit Kate's throat.
"Jackson…" she muttered steadily. She flicked her gaze down to her leg, trying to mentally send him her plan.

Jackson makes a confused face at her, mouthing, "wut?"

The man's grip tightened and he began to draw the knife across her throat.
"Shoot his leg," she mouthed, shifting hers out of the way subtly.

'Ohhh' Jackson diesnt hesitate. He lifts the sniper and shoots the guy's shin

The man shouted and dropped the knife into the snow. The edge was tinted red. Kate elbowed him in the stomach and shoved him off of her.

Jackson aimed his sniper at the other guys. He shoots a few them at random

Kate drew her pistol from her belt and fired as well. When all of them had been eliminated, she looked back at Jackson. "Thanks," she said breathlessly. There was a decently sized slit in her neck and blood began to pearl along it.

Jackson walks over to her, "Are you ok?" He motions toward her cut

"I'm fine," she nodded, wiping the blood onto the snow.

"Are you sure?" He straps his gun to his bac

"Yeah," she replied, tucking her pistol back in her belt and taking the HYDRA man's gun. "Isn't gonna hurt to have two, right?" Kate winked and made sure it was loaded.

"Wtf?" Jackson rolls his eyes, "You know what. Nevermind." He leads the way toward the cliff

She followed him. Soon, the frosty HYDRA base appeared in sight. Kate pressed her lips together and rubbed her arms.

Jackson was freezing and complaining loudly.

Quickly, Kate pulled him down and back behind a snowbank.

Jackson chokes as he found himself suddenly on his butt in the snow, "Hey! I'm already cold!"

"Shhh!" she hissed, peering slowly around the snow.

"What?" He barks, sitting back, "Yeah that's the base."

"No, I see someone. Shut up!" she spat quietly.
