The next morning soon came, and, for the first time in forever, Kokichi actually slept through the night, and peacefully, too. He was still asleep by the time Rantaro woke up, still holding onto him, appearing to be at peace.

Rantaro smiled, nuzzling the other

Kokichi woke up about an hour later. He continued to lie there for a moment, comfy, not fully awake, but then he decided to say good morning.

" morning love," rantaro said softly

"Good morning.." He yawned before continuing. "Did you sleep well?"

" yeah," he said and pulled kokichi closer

"That's good." Kokichi smiled softly as the other pulled him close. "I actually slept well myself. First time in like a year, really.. I don't exactly know what you did that helped, but thank you.."

(This is my comfort ship now. Thought you should know because I'm gonna obsess over it at school. Lol)

" your welcome.."

Kokichi continued to smile. "I love you, Rantaro.. Also, I thought I'd ask, are we doing anything for breakfast? I'm trying to take care of myself because of you.."

Rantaro chuckled " love you and yes "

"Good to know. I'm looking forward to it.. I love you so much, but I think that's obvious when you're the only reason I'm taking care of myself.."

(And random time skip because I got bored and decided to add the drama club element back because it's fun-)

Kokichi was discussing things with the drama club, Rantaro sitting next to him since he decided to force his boyfriend to attend the club meeting. "And now that we've come up with our next play, I'd say we can end our meeting for today, but this was fun!" He smiled at Rantaro. "I love being a part of all the plays and stuff around here. I know we just finished one and the school year ends soon, but we've got this! Auditions are at the end of this week if you're interested!" He sure did a lot in the drama club, despite how much work it was.

Rantaro snapped out of his mindless thoughts "hmm?"

"And you weren't even paying attention… Anyways, I just kinda asked if you were interested in auditioning for our next play!" He smiled. "Yeah, I know we just had one, but I don't care! I'm in charge here, and I know we can get this done! Drama club is all I've got going for me here at school, so I keep it as active as possible."

" sure I'd love to. What role?" He asked

"Well, we need to have auditions first, but I'm thinking I might let you pick your role. Sure, it's biased, but you're my boyfriend, so of course it is."

" but I'm not sure what role to do, or what play.."

"You zoned out for the entire meeting, you dork." He chuckled. "I'll update you on everything." And he did just that. "If you're interested, let me know!"

" okay sure "

"Anyways, the meeting is over, so if you wanna hang out, I'm free now!"

" okay!"

"So, where should we go for a date?"

" maybe a pizza place?"

"Yeah, that sounds nice, actually! Let's go!" Kokichi grabbed Rantaro's hand and began running, excited.

Rantsro kept up, laughing.

"If you couldn't tell, I'm excited." Kokichi couldn't help but laugh as well as they arrived at a pizza place. "Now let's get pizza!"

" okay!"
