"I wasn't going to touch her, the herbs are for me you moron," Blair said, putting his staff back onto his back and looking at Trenton.

@Hawkeye

Lydia felt herself slowly become more in control of what she was seeing, although she still felt extremely weak, too fatigued to open her eyes.

“You have no right to degrade me as such when your decision making is despicably abhorrent.” Trenton kept his sword in his shaking hand, still freaking out over Lydia. The boy paced back and forth like a caged animal with a wide eyed panicked expression on his face.

Blair rolled his eyes and turned, picking up his bag and walking away. "Idiot." He muttered to himself as he did so.

@Hawkeye

Lydia sighed, and opened her eyes, being met with blinding light. “Trent?”

“Lydia!” Trenton dropped his sword and pulled her into a hug, flooding her with apologies, but mostly just frantically repeating the word “sorry” over and over.

@Hawkeye

“I-I’m fine. What did I tell you about apologizing?” Lydia said quietly, then adding, “What happened?”

He did something.” Trenton shot a nasty look at Blair before picking up his sword and sheathing it. His hands were balled into fists, still shaking.

@Hawkeye

“Trent, come on. Let’s just go back to camp, we can talk there, Alright?”

Trenton stayed frozen in place. “What makes you think you have the right to do that to someone?” He glared at Blair, absolutely furious. “Do you think it’s funny? Do you just assume you’re better than us?” His voice cracked a little towards the end, coloring his generally monotone voice with emotion for a split second.

@Hawkeye

“Trent! Let’s go!” Lydia said, standing up, stumbling for a second.

@Hawkeye

“Trent! Let’s go!” Lydia said, standing up, stumbling for a moment.

"Me better than you? Do I think it's funny? No, I don't. At least you don't have a disfigured face from an accident that killed your entire family and then sent here!" He exclaimed, his cool composure down for a second as he turned.

@Hawkeye

Lydia gaped at Blair for a second. “What?”

“I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone, and I wouldn’t wish my own past upon anyone as well.” Trenton stared at Blair, his eyes steely. “But it gives you no excuse to act out like this. You live in a camp overshadowed by tragedy. It isn’t a competition.” He turned his back on Blair, taking a few shaky breaths. “I’ll carry you back Lydia. You’ll be light enough to go on my back.” He whispered softly, his voice now strained.

@Hawkeye

“I’m fine, Trent. I can walk by myself.” Lydia said, gaining enough composure back not to stumble as she walked a few steps towards camp.

Blair walks off without a word as Lex tries to figure out how to make the asshole, not the villain.

Trenton walked at her side, still seething with a mix of anger and fear. “Are you alright? Did he harm you?” He asked, his voice quavering slightly.

@Hawkeye

“I don’t remember a thing after you said my name. And I’m fine.”

“I apologize for abandoning you. I shouldn’t have made you go, I knew he was unstable. I fear I may have been too harsh and acted rashly just now, but you must understand the situation at hand was rather terrifying.” Trenton rambled, speaking quickly to keep up with his rapid heartbeat.

@Hawkeye

“Hey, it’s okay. You’re alright, I’m alright.” Lydia said soothingly.

“I should’ve stopped him. I could have, and yet I did nothing.” Trenton shook his head, starting to calm down.

@Hawkeye

“It’s fine. Let’s go back to camp.”

Trenton did not think this was fine, but shut his mouth anyways, his eyes focused on his feet. “You are certain that you do not wish to be carried?” He asked softly, his voice hardly above a whisper.

@Hawkeye

“I’m alright.” Lydia said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

Trent visibly flinched when her hand made contact, but otherwise didn’t say a word. He kept his eyes glued to the ground as they walked.

@Hawkeye

Lydia noticed him flinch but didn’t say anything. They reached the edge of the forest, and she asked, “Where to?”

“You need rest.” Trenton lifted his head, his muscles still tense.

@Hawkeye

“I’m alright, Trent. Where to?” Lydia repeated(I keep almost writing my name instead of Lydia, and I don’t know why.)

Trent shrugged, looking deflated. He pretty much had the fight taken out of him after the day’s events.

(Lmao the story is too real)
