Trenton combed out her hair one more time after he finished cutting it before stepping away. “I hope that’s alright.”

Lydia looked in the mirror and smiled. “This is the first actual haircut I’ve had in years.”

Trenton smiled warmly. “Glad I could do the honors.”

(I’m starting an adventure rp with someone, do you want to join in? I think it’ll be fun. We’re still coming up with ideas for the plot)

“Thanks!” Lydia said, standing up.

(At the moment it’s just called “I.Need.Activity” in the Wildcard section.)

“Anytime, dwarf.” Trenton smiled again, thoroughly pleased with himself.

“You should be cowering in fear of the daughter of Nemesis! Not calling her dwarf.” Lydia said, trying and failing to keep a straight face.

“But you’re so small.” Trent teased. “Like demigod teddy bear.”

“Nemesis does not produce teddy bears! She produces fear!”

“Fear? Are you quite certain?” Trent raised an eyebrow at Lydia. “I do not believe you quite fit that description.”

Lydia raised her eyebrows. “You have offended the daughter of Nemesis! Watch me use my magic! Oh wait… I don’t have any…”

Trenton laughed. “I was not gifted with magic either. I hear it’s quite the burden anyhow.”

“Probably.”

Trenton smiled before flipping down onto his bed. “Being good at everything is exhausting.” He complained.

Lydia rolled her eyes. “Wow.”

“It’s true!” He whined, lofting his head up. “I’m going to get gel all over my pillow.” He vanished into the bathroom and came back a few minutes later with a sopping wet mop of hair.

“Jeez. What did you do?” Lydia asked, raising her eyebrows.

“Stuck my head in the sink.” He replied casually, a goofy smile on his face.

“Well, I suppose it works.”

He shook his head, a bit like a dog, spraying water everywhere. “It works!” He grinned.

“Oh my gods!” Lydia said, jumping up in surprise.

“You sound like Ollie.” He stuck his tongue playfully at Lydia.

“I’m at a disadvantage!” Lydia said, laughing.

“That’s not my fault.” Trent laughed.

“I thought you took pity on the poor 14 year old!”

“All is fair in love and war.” Trent declared, sitting on the edge of his bed.

“Rude!” Lydia said, sitting down next to him.

“I don’t think so.” Trent smiled. “You’re like the little sister I never knew I wanted.”

“Now I know what it’s like to have an older brother.” Lydia replied, smiling.

“I’m the best older brother.” Trent nudged Lydia with his elbow.
