(Morning!)

“Just tired.” He responded quietly, feeling a headache building in his head.

@Hawkeye

“You sure?” Lydia asked, turning and walking backwards so she could look at him.

“I believe so.” He looked over at Lydia with faint amusement.

@Hawkeye

Lydia raised an eyebrow. “Somehow I still doubt that you’re telling the truth.”

“I will admit I am… stressed to a certain degree.” Trent sighed slowing his pace as they neared the lake.

@Hawkeye

“Why? Everything ok? Someone being stupid?” Lydia asked quickly.

“Only me, dwarf. No need to worry yourself. He walked up the the water’s edge, kicking off his shoes and socks. He took off his shirt before wading into the water.

@Hawkeye

Lydia kicked her shoes off and followed him, worried about him even though he said not to be.

Trent shivered as the lake water lapped at his skin, but he settled down, sitting down where the water reached his shoulders.

@Hawkeye

“Trent, is there something going on? ‘Cause you can tell me if there is, I’m not going to judge. Actually, you should tell me, or at least someone, it’s not good for you to keep stuff bottled up.” Lydia said quietly.

Trent let out a long sigh, closing his eyes. “You’ve only known me for a day, little dwarf.”

@Hawkeye

“And?”

“So you shouldn’t worry so much. Stress is bad for your health.”

@Hawkeye

“Exactly my point. I won’t worry anymore, and you won’t be as stressed if you have someone to talk to.” Lydia replies like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

“It has been a stressful day.” Trent replied, his voice soft and tentative. “I am worried about various things.”

@Hawkeye

“Such as?”

With a small grumble, Trent began to speak again. “I worry for tonight, first of all.”

@Hawkeye

“Which is fair, of course.” Lydia replied.

“And for my brother in San Francisco.” Trent continued, chewing his lower lip. “And for Blair.”

@Hawkeye

“You’re worried about Blair?”

Trenton ignored her comment, but shifted in discomfort. “And I worry for you and Sam.”

@Hawkeye

“Don’t worry about us. We’ve made t this long.”

“I still worry.” He replied flatly.

@Hawkeye

“At least don’t worry until we go back.” Lydia said.

“Far too late for that.” Trent grumbled, letting the cool water soothe him. “I worry for Finn as well, but I doubt he gives me a second thought.”

@Hawkeye

“You don’t know that, Trent. Maybe he does.” Lydia replied.

Trenton snorted, unwilling to justify that with a verbal response.

@Hawkeye

Lydia smiled. “You can’t say I’m wrong, can you?”
