"Logan, it's always been a problem… You just never realized how much of a problem it was until now because you'd always ignore our concerns like you're fine… We've all been trying to tell you that this is a problem, but you've never even bothered to listen until now," Roman said.
"But I can't just… stop working! There's always more work I can do! If I can manage to keep this up for just a couple more months, I will finish the next two years of work and I'll be able to graduate!"
"Logan, if you keep this up- Well, I'm not getting into that right now for Patton's sake, but just know that you need to stop… You need to know what your limits are and how to not push them… You need to take breaks every so often, too," Roman said.
"Limits are for the feeble minded! You only have limits if you set them for yourself. I have set no limits, as I aspire to do incredible things and limits will only slow me down!"
"Logan, if you think that you're bettering yourself and seeming determined, you're really just making things worse… You need some sort of limits before you- Again, I'm not mentioning that near Patton but you know what I mean…" Roman said,
"But if I can just finish the next two months of work, then I will be finished with school entirely! Then I will be able to get a well paying career and relax. Isn't that what you want?"
"We want you to relax, yes, but we don't want you dying in the process to get there! Also, Patton, I'm sorry, but I had to say it to it through Logan's head that this is going to seriously harm him!" Roman said.
"I'm not going to die, Roman! Sure, I'll be tired most of the time, but that is a burden I'm willing to bear. I do not need 'beauty sleep'. I sleep when necessary and I have been doing perfectly fine."
"No, you have not! Quit lying! You're not just lying to us; you're lying to yourself, Logan! You don't sleep when necessary, or you'd be sleeping every night! You wouldn't have passed out from exhaustion if you actually slept and you know that!" Roman said.
"I do sleep every night! Perhaps not as much as you do, but I'm still sleeping!" Logan insisted, sighing in frustration again.
"Logan, you're seriously lying to all of us, including yourself! We've all had those times where we're randomly up late at night, and I can guarantee you that we've always found you awake! You can't keep these lies up! You need to change something for your own health and well-being!" Roman said.
"Sometimes I fall asleep for a few minutes while I'm studying! I've got alarms set to prevent me from getting too distracted. But all those minutes combined probably adds up to… an hour or so."
(Logan: Sometimes my eyes close when I sneeze)
"Logan, that's not good! You know that the average person needs about seven to eight hours of sleep a night to be functioning as normal! It's the recommended amount of sleep! Logan, please, just get sleep every night and don't overwork yourself like you have been!" Roman said.
Logan sighed. "But there's just so much work that I need to get done! I don't have time to waste hours and hours just… laying idly in my bed!"
"Logan, you're literally done with school for the next like two months! You have nothing but time! Stop with the lies and excuses and start taking care of yourself!" Roman said.
"I just want to get everything done so I can be finished permanently! I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I was supposed to just not do anything for months!"
"I'm not saying to stop being productive, Logan! All I'm saying is that you need to start taking better care of yourself and not work yourself so hard! It's not good for you!" Roman said.
"I-I just… I… I want to be working. All the time. When I'm eating, I could be working. When I'm sleeping, I could be working. When I'm working, I could be working harder."
"Logan, you're going to kill yourself with that mentality! You're going to end up being even more sleep deprived, and then you're going to starve yourself, too, and then you'll die!" Roman said.
"I'll survive, I assure you. It's simply mind over matter. I can do it. It's only another two months, after all." Logan replied.
"Logan, no! That's not how it works all the time! You still need food and water to survive, and sleep, too! Stop acting like they're not important! Stop acting like not working will kill you!" Roman said.
"I know sustenance is important. I haven't stopped eating or drinking. I simply eat less and more quickly because it draws time away from working."

"Logan, the only thing that you've consumed is Crofter's. You need to eat actual food, you know! Crofter's isn't going to last you forever! You really need to take better care of yourself, eat actual food, and sleep!" Roman said.
"Crofters is all I need! Crofters and work!" Logan huffed indignantly, crossing his arms and looking away.
"Logan, you need more than Crofter's and work! You need actual food, you need sleep, and you need to actually take care of yourself!" Roman said.
