Logan sighed a bit and set down his empty jelly jar. "Just tell them the truth. I no longer care."

"Okay. I'll go tell them… Be back in a moment…" Patton said before returning to the kitchen. "So, Lo gave me permission to explain – though I only know since I kind of witnessed it– everything. Simply enough, at around two in the morning he passed out from exhaustion, and didn't wake up until recently. After talking to his teachers, I told him that they wanted him to stay here, and they truly did. That's why he's still here."
"Passed out?? Dammit, I knew he'd been overworking himself again… He needs to understand that he's a person, not a robot. He has limits. Taking a break will be good for him, even if he disagrees." Virgil looked over at the living room, running his fingers through his hair. At this point, Logan had passed out again on the couch, curled up into a loose ball.
"I know that he needs to understand that, I'm trying to get him to… I'm worried about him… He could literally end up working himself to death, and he might have if I didn't talk to his teachers earlier since I witnessed this, or have at least gotten closer to it… I'm glad that I got him to take a break, and…" Patton trailed off there when he saw Logan passed out on the couch, "… and he passed out again… It's worse than I thought…"
"Do you know how long it's been since he's slept?" Virgil asked. "I remember when I couldn't sleep at all for a week and I was experiencing similar symptoms to him. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he's been studying through the night and not sleeping…"
"I assume that, too, Virgil… We need to make sure that he gets sleep at night to help get his sleep schedule back in order before anything else can happen… Virgil, do you have any ideas as to how we can help Logan out here, and how to actually get him to sleep at night?" Patton asked.
"Um… well, for me it was insomnia. Logan seems to have done this to himself on purpose. I don't think there's much to do other than to encourage him to start sleeping at night instead of studying. Clearly he's capable of sleeping; he just doesn't want to. Probably considers it a waste of his time. I don't think he'll listen to anyone but you, Pops. Hell, you convinced him to stay home from school! He's never done that before!"
"I'll do anything in my power to ensure that he is alive and well. I only got him to stay home because his teachers came to the agreement to just ban him from coming today after my explanation of what happened, but that's one thing I've gotten him to do to better his health! I just want him to be healthy, and I value his well-being. I am going to care for him and ensure that he gets enough sleep and doesn't overdo things again," Patton said.
Virgil nodded and clapped for Patton. "Congrats, pops. Now go get em'. Make sure that bastard is happy and healthy."
"I will always make sure of that from this point on! He is going to live a better life and he will be happy and healthy!" Patton said.
"Woo~!" Virgil laughed a bit and leaned into Roman, sighing softly.
"Well, Patton, you go do that!" Roman said as Patton started to walk back into the living room.
Virgil lay his head on Roman's shoulder and smiled gently as he looked up at him. "I think they'll turn out alright."
"Yeah, things will be fine. I'm still waiting for those two to end up as a couple, to be honest. It's going to happen one day," Roman said.
"Mhmm. You know there's no way in hell Logan would allow anyone but Patton to keep him from school."
"Yeah, that's true. Patton is the only one who can convince Logan to do just about anything that he wouldn't normally do."
Virgil nodded in agreement and stood up, yawning a bit. "Well, what do you want to do? Clearly Patton is preoccupied."
(I want to run away from my grandparents that I'm visiting and my grandma said "Fine. Who would want you anyway?" Um, maybe my girlfriend who already wants to come and get me! Why can't she be online so I can contact her…?)
"i don't really know about what we should do. I just want you to be happy, Virgil," Roman said, which was always true.
(Oof that sucks. I'm sorry <33)
Virgil blushed a bit. "I mean… we'll have to go to school at some point."
(Like, seriously, I'm waiting for her to be online, calling her, {I would now, but her being online is when I first know that she's awake} and then waiting a few hours for her to come and get me because I'm done being here.)
"Yes, I do know that we'll have to go to school at some point, but until then, we can do anything," Roman said.
(I hope she can get there soon <33)
"I suppose so. We can… play a game or something?" Virgil suggested.
(My grandparents' house is like four hours from home. I would be fine just knowing that I can leave soon, though. I'm sure being somewhat isolated by staying in the house's entryway {it's kind of cold in here, but whatever} and having BTS and YouTube will last me a while)
"Sure! What kind of game do you want to play, Virgil?" Roman asked.
(Alrighty <33 I'll try my best to distract you as well lol)
"Anything's fine, really… if you've got any video games or board games you like, that'd be fine."
(Thanks)
"Ah, well, then, I have quite a few! Let's go to my room and I can show you everything!" Roman said, taking Virgil to his room where he had a lot of random games and stuff.
Virgil trailed after Roman and looked at the selection of games curiously. "Do you have any favorites?" He asked.
Roman grabbed a few of the games and showed them to Virgil. "These would be some of my favorites."
Virgil hummed softly, considering. "Let's just play Clue." He pulled the game out of the pile.
"Okay!" Roman said, then setting the game up with Virgil so they can begin playing it.
They played Clue until Virgil inevitably won and then chatted until it was time to go to class. Virgil sighed as he looked at the clock. "I don't wanna go…"
"I know that you don't… I've been having a lot of fun hanging out with you while playing Clue – which, great job on winning, by the way – and talking to you!" Roman said.
