She took the sleeve, looking up to meet his eyes. "Can I?"

"Doesn't really look like i can, does it?" he asked, frowning even heavier in preparation of what was to come.

"Alright, alright, point." She shook her head, letting her suit pull back from her hands. The metal was too likely to hurt him. Carefully, and as gently as she could, she began using the cloth to wrap the injury in a sling of sorts.

He grit his teeth, but said nothing as she tied it around his arm. Behind them, the Lady was getting to her feet slowly, throwing daggers as Klaus with her eyes.

"Almost done…there." She stepped back, her suit returning to it's place over her hands. "That should help the bleeding for now. Sorry if it hurt too much."

"Nah," he grunted, rubbing the beads of sweat from his forehead. "Hurt about the right amount, I'd say."

"We just have to wait for the other suit, and then we can fix you up." She said, fingers moving at her sides like she was typing on invisible keys out of habit.

"I want a fucking suit," he grumbled, crossing his free arm over his chest. "I get hurt way too much."

"I'll look into something that works with the symbiote." She promised, her fingers pausing as she thought. "There's got to be something, right?"

"It works with everything. It, like, threads into my clothes." It was a very sloppy explanation, but it was probably the best she'd get from him.

"Perfect. I'll figure something out. Promise." She gave him a slightly strained smile, worry evident in her eyes.

He made eye contact with her, then waved her off. "I'm fine, Peggy. It just hurts a little."

"I'm allowed to be worried! You just got shot! And thrown into a car!" She huffed, pointing at him.

"The car hurts a lot less, trust me." He slapped the hand away lightly.

"I bet, but that doesn't change the fact that you were still shot. You don't just walk that off." She wrinkled her nose at him, placing her hand on her hip. She was only really moving one arm the way she normally would, the other mostly just hanging there at her side.

"Id doesn't seem like you're fine and dandy, either," he pointed out. "Ms. Hypocrite."

"Of course I'm fine. I'm not the one who got shot." She said, shaking her head carefully. "Just a bit ache-y."

He squinted his eyes at her. "Lift your left arm over your shoulder, then."

"I used it to wrap your wound, remember?" She pointed out, stalling.

"Again, not over your shoulder," he said, not giving an inch.

She grumbled to herself, lifting her arm. She raised it over her shoulder, despite very obviously being in pain. "Ta-da."

He shook his head, obviously frustrated. "And you're trying to tell me that didn't hurt."

"Nope, not at all. Can I put my arm down now?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as her arm shook.

"No." He turned around to look at the Lady, but the only thing that was left of her was a head-shaped dent in the brick wall. "Motherfucker!" He shouted, just as Alan came flying into view.

"Shit shit shit shit." Peggy spun, her arm dropping anyway as she looked around. "Goddamn it." She wasn't as loud about it as Klaus, closer to muttering. "Where the hell-"

Alan landed in front of Klaus just before he took off down the street in pursuit to block his path.
"Do you want him to be sedated, Ms. Stark?" Alan asked calmly as Klaus attempted to break free of his grip.

Peggy was about to say no, but paused to think. He'd just end up hurting himself further at this point. "I-yeah. Not too much. Just enough to keep him from hurting himself."

"No, what? Sto-"
One of Alan's fingers turned into a syringe and surgically plunged it into his neck. Klaus gave Peggy a look that could kill, before his eyes seemed to glass over and a dopy smile plastered itself across his face.

Peggy cringed, looking absolutely apologetic. "Thanks, man. He's gone through enough today, if he'd lost it this time…" She shook her head carefully, sighing. "We should get him somewhere to get fixed up."

"He won't be very happy with you, Ms Stark," Alan pointed out as he picked Klaus up.
