Cicada rolled her eyes and muttered, "Other people could do that too. But go nooooo, you have to be the powder monkey. I swear I don't understand people sometimes."
Crystalline Pirates: Protectors of the Island (Closed! You can stalk though.)
(Lol, I will be very typo filled for a bit. So sorry.)
Brooke was studying a map, making sure that she had the route and all possible escapes memorized. She barely glanced up at the shouting, ignoring the others.
"I could just as well be the captain! Don't make us do all the work! Do you want yer crystals? Then come get 'em!" He shouted back up in annoyance, loading up a barrel of his crystals and ignoring Cicada's still lying on the ground.
(it's okay)
"Hey Brooke! I advocate you as the new captain, to show Cicada we could all do her job just as well!" He shouted, dumping the barrel at Brooke's feet quite by accident.
"Oops."
Cicada let out a long heavy sigh. Houston was still new, she reminded herself as she went to go check the riggings. One mistake and the ship wouldn't make it out of the port. Besides she had her crystals on her, those were spares, idiots.
Brooke's head shot up as she stared at Houston. "Talking like that could be considered mutiny. I'd prefer to keep my life, thanks very much."
Houston backed away slowly, picking up his crystals as he went. "Geez, sorry. Why is everyone here so bossy? And, no one ever answered my question. WHO HAS THE LAST POWDER BAG?"
"I'm not being bossy. Just stating a fact," Brooke clarified before going back to staring at her maps.
"IT'S IN YOUR BACK POCKET IDIOT!" Cicada yelled at Houston. She finished checking the rigging.
Houston stared at her for a couple seconds, tilting his head in a rather offended and disgusted way before turning back and marching to his cabin, arms full of cloudy crystals. They dropped one by one, leaving a trail of crystals leading to his bunk.
"I'll be expecting that powder bag!" He yelled back to the others.
He was a rather oblivious person if you hadn't noticed yet. Not stupid necessarily, just oblivious. Or, it could be that he was just annoying, for the next minute the last cannon was loaded.
Cicada sighed loudly as she walked over to Brooke. She looked over the maps, "Please stop me from killing him. I am so very close to just stabbing him."
(I posted that after I saw your rp post because my computer's slow so I'm going to make up for it with character traits)
Zoe went back up to the deck once she finished checking up on the supplies. "Hey Cap, I think we need to make a stop, we're running low on Marakip."
(Okay. Sounds good lol.)
Brooke looked up, biting back a smile. "Yes, well… Honestly, I have no idea how to help you with him," she admitted with a shrug.
Cicada sighed before she turned to Zoe, "We'll make a stop in Onyx. I promise."
(I stopped panicking, just to let you know.)
(Don't mean to be annoying or anything but I never actually posted a picture of Houston's appearance so here it is (wihout the snake and all, this is actually draco malfoy fanart) https://aminoapps.com/c/harry-potter/page/blog/draco-malfoy-fanart/8eTm_u2rxvY4gLagwwPlY4V1W88keL)
Zoe clicked her tongue before holding up a thumbs up "Ok, tell me if you need me to kill some people and stuff." She replied before she wentok to check on the crates.
Loud pounding ensues from the decks below, undoubtedly from Houston's cabin. It stutters on and off, just like Houston when he's nervous - but this time with an earsplitting hammer.
Cicada placed a marker on the map for Onyx and then looked to Zoe, "Will you please go check on Houston. If I go down there I'm going to murder him."
"Well it sounds like hes going to murder you so sure." Zoe replied before she went below to Houston's cabin
Houston was revealed to be hammering at a sizeable piece of cloudy clear crystal in the middle of his cabin so hard it appeared as though he might break the ship. There was a peaceful look over his face though as if this was casual and something he enjoyed.
Zoe cautiously openned the door. "Houston what are you doing?" Zoe asked in concern
"I'm crafting my eye so that I can have a special vision in my eyes. And, you know, not be blind." He answered nonchalantly.
"That doesn't explain why it looks like you're going to tear the ship down, are you ok?"
"I'm fine. Besides, how else am I supposed to chisel this thing into a heckin' eye? Use a nail file?" He asked, eyebrows raised at Zoe as if she was being stupid right then - which of course, she wasn't, the odds of that leaning in Houston's favor.
