Lucas and Josiah noticed how Hinata reacted to what they said. They both looked towards her. “Is there something wrong ma’am?” Lucas asked Hinata.

The barkeeper flickered into view in to steampunk era gear. “Whew! That was on hell of a ride.” She looked at Vasilios. “Uh, no offense.”

"No, nothing…" Hinata ran her hand through her ponytail.

Vasilios rested his head on Calix's shoulder and closed his eyes. Calix just sat there looking at the counter.

Her clothes flicked and changed to a simple black velvet dress that stopped at her knees. “Okay, we’re talking about soul labyrinths? Wow I have a lot of stories about those. Quite a nuisance for most.”

“Hey Hinata, nice to see you back! Want something to drink?” The barkeeper grabbed a glass from behind her.

Lucas and Josiah turned back to the barkeep. “Mind if we each have another?” Lucas requested.

Hinata looked up.
"Got anything guaranteeing death?"

Josiah smirked when he heard what Hinata asked for. He pointed to her while looking at the barkeep.
“Whatever she’s getting, I’ll take two” he said with a slight tone of comedy.
Lucas noticed what Josiah was asking for.
“I’ll take three” he challenged his colleague.

“Your funeral.” She poured out three swirling red drink and handed them out.

Hinata quickly gulped her's down.
"So, does it kill you immediately, or do I have to wait?"

The barkeeper shrugged. “No idea. Never had anyone drink it other than myself. Only thing that affects me.”
Kai gracefully glided over through the air and over to the bar.
"Is that poison? If so can I have some?" Kai asked with both curiosity and hope present in her voice.

Josiah chuckled.
“Well, we’re both already dead. So how bad is it gonna be?” He giggled, downing a whole glass.

Hinata placed the cup back down. As soon as she did so, she collapsed. If you looked carefully, however, you could see her chest moving up and down. She was simply unconscious.
"Ooooooooooooo! I want whatever she had!" Kai screeched jumping around in excitement.

Josiah glanced at Hinata.
“Heh, weak” he downed the other glass of the same drink. He was drunk now.
“Uh…I think you should go home?” Lucas advised his colleague.
“The Night is still young!!” Josiah softly shouted and was clearly not okay.

Hinata slowly crawled into a sitting position. She was quickly getting over it.
"Hot d@mn, I thought I could finally die. Dangit."

“Welcome newbie. Name, drink, and story please.
"The name is Kai and I'm known as the worst sorceress in my home realm." She said as she put her head down to rest in her arms. "And do you have anything poisonous?"

“We have quite a few poisonous things, can you be more specific. What symptoms do you want?”

"I could give her some of mine." S.K said, holding up another bottle she pulled from her pocket, this one is a shiny black. "It's almost completely untested and definitely lethal."

Hinata was sitting in the corner, upset she hadn't been able to die.

Calix looked over at Hinata. "Poison can help if you are that desperate."

Hinata looked up.
"It doesn't help. My afterlife was destroyed, so I can't die. Plus, my bosses put a curse on me to be unable to ever die, so I'm basically screwed in the death department."

Lucas turned to Hinata.
“Where have I heard something like that before…” he asked himself rather than her.
On the other hand, Josiah was…not sitting still.

"Eh, make the best of it? Honestly no idea how to help but you'll figure something out."

"Nope. I've had one of my friends try, my soul went right back in." Hinata shrugged.

"Sounds fun." The Barkeeper handed Kai one of the red drinks.
