"Um…what do you mean it was killed? Do you know why they did it? maybe they were in danger…?" Paige said with a certain pang of guilt washing over her; there has to be some mistake.

"nope she was trying to find her other cub. i asked her to check some forests near by and she ran into the town, those viligers probably thought she was attacking them" he said "sometimes i hate humans" he grumbleded under his breath

No. No. No. This wasn't true, this can't be the same dragon. She hadn't - THEY hadn't just killed a harmless dragon. She refused to believe; she would never hurt an innocent creature. No. Disbelief, guilt and shame flooded through her as her grip on the sword became slack and the raised tip fell to the ground. Looking to others in panic, she didn't know what to say. What to do. "Was it - was it a shadow dragon or- or - or a darkness dragon?"

"hm well i suppose you could call it that. But i prefer to say shadow because the males are realy the agressive ones." he said not noticing the panic on her face

"Sh*t." It was the only word Paige could form as the weight of it all hit her all at once. She was going to be sick.

(Sorry if swears aren't allowed on this. I'll change it if they arent)

"Whats wrong?" he asked his voice full of concern

(They're allowed.)

"WE ARE THE VILLAGERS THAT KILLED HER! WE ALL THOUGHT IT WAS ATTACKING US, IT STARTED BREATHING ACID AND AND AND" Paige ran out of words, there really was no excuse for this. She felt like the most disgusting person alive. She looked towards the others too see how they were bearing the news.

"The man it was chasing came to the nearest village." He said.

Paige's guilt was clouded over by confusion. If what he was saying was true then what about the villager, and the rune that proved that that dragon had been chasing him. Could there be two dragons or ?

Onyx took a long angry breath in and yelled"YOU DID WHAT!"his anger showing in the energy pulsing around him "YOU KILLED A DRAGON THAT WAS PROBABLY TRAPPED AND THAT'S MOST LIKELY WHY SHE USED HER ACID" he screamed, anguish visible on his face. he had loved that dragon like she was his mother, and to see these people had killed her.

"Are you sure it's the same dragon?" Paige wanted it to all be a misunderstanding.

"Yes! you horrible people that was the only female shadow dragon in the 3 kingdoms!" he said tears threatend to spill over his cheeks

"We're sorry! We didn't know! We didn't know… we were told a king who came back from the dead was the one that set her to chase the villager. We thought she was the danger … not us." Paige felt her own eyes pool up. This wasn't fair. This wasn't right. This was all a mistake.

His eyes grew steely "dont tell me a short old man told you that a king sent her?" He snarled

"If he did i will hunt him down and hill him. Stupid Anodis you fraking little jerk" he swore under his breath

"How did you- what do you mean? I don't understand what's happening. Please believe that we wouldn't ever hurt her if we knew she was harmless," Paige was lost between questions and her pleas, the confusing and guilt was crushing her. She saw Riverpaw and Tsunami facing a similar reaction and she understood their pain all too well.

"Just tell me" He growls the energy getting stronger as his anger grew

"Who's Anodis?" Paige said confused, " The man that came to us was Hadvirris and the sorcerer we speak of is Yarie."

"i need to know." he gulped "i need to know why" the tears finally started to spill

"Anodis is the head f a commitee of sorcerers and Hadvirris is one of his favorite minoins" he explained the tears still falling

Paige couldn't help years of her own falling. She had been responsible for taking away someone so important to him. All for lies in the end. "What is this committee? "

"almost all of them are idiots, they feel responsible to get rid of every magical beast there is" he said hatred burning in his eyes
